Holland international Mark van Bommel's list of admirers keeps on growing with German club Borussia Dortmund the latest to register their interest.
Fellow Bundesliga outfit Schalke and Premiership club Tottenham have already had bids rejected by van Bommel's club PSV Eindhoven but the talented midfielder seems destined to leave Philips Stadion in the summer.
Dortmund have entered the hunt as it seems their influential playmaker Tomas Rosciky will quit the Westfalenstadion too this summer and boss Matthias Sammer has earmarked van Bommel as a replacement.
Van Bommel is still under contract at PSV until 2005 and the club have rejected Spurs' offer, thought to be in the region of €2 million, and Schalke's, thought to be €5 million, so Dortmund will have to improve on those bids if they want to land their man.
I thought Dortmund had financial problems? I suppose getting rid of Amoroso and Rosicky could help, which leaves them the cash for MVB.
Personally, i think the Spurs think is more about finding the right fee for him then he'll be ours. I don't think he'd move to anyone else unless he was almost forced to by PSV.
€6m is the fee they are reported to want, £4m. Come on Spurs, it's small change really.
