This is a thread for everyone that hates Duke with a passion. If you are a Duke fan, try to defend them. But if you are a Duke fan that a) Didn't go to Duke, or b) Don't live in North Carolina, you will get blasted big time.
So everyone, let's enjoy this thread. :)

I am sure that he gets off just thinking about Duke and that barn that they play in. I would love to see the NY Yankees team plane crash into Duke during a home basketball game.

Hell, and the Notre Dame football team is in the stands taking in a game. ;)
******** Duke. Those officials tend to always give them the calls. A Duke play flops, it is great defense and a charging call. An opponent takes a charge, the announcers say that he wasn't set and it is called a blocking foul.
We need to go back to a couple of years ago when Duke was 20 losses. I can live with that.

I don't hate Duke, though I think they get more than their fair share of "luck". I don't hate Stanford either, if that means anything.

It so happens that I went to Duke. When I went there, they sucked at basketball and had a half-way decent football team. Go figure. Only UNC fans and some NC State fans hated Duke with the passion that half the country hates them now. Even my own dad was rooting against Duke while we were watching the Illinois game together the other night. I can certainly understand it - I've always been a fan of underdogs and hate the Yankees, too. But what can I do, it's my school, so ******** you all. ;)

you are exempt since you went there. :)
it is just boring to see the same team (unless it is your team) be so good for so long. it is fun to see them hurt and lose a lot. And plus, America loves the underdogs.

Only UNC fans and some NC State fans hated Duke with the passion that half the country hates them now.You know, even as a Carolina fan, I don't hate Dook that much. I have to respect what they've done, especially since 1997. They run a clean program, their kids stay out of trouble and raise the level of play in ACC. In fact, I almost wish they'd only lose 4 games a season - to Carolina at Dean Dome, Cameron, ACC Tourney and the NCAAs. They were horrible for a few seasons in the 90s, and while there was some enjoyment in kicking them while they were down, it just wasn't the same, and I'm sure they feel the same about Carolina now. Sure, they're annoying and there's nothing more contrived in college basketball than slapping the floor on defense, but hey, whatever tickles their pickles. And I have a feeling people would find Dook much less annoying if Dickie V were to lose his voice tomorrow.
I came to realize that Dook just serves a different purpose from other universities. Without Dook, where would New Jersey trustfund babies park their daddies' Beemers?

Oh, and have you guys heard the horrible news? It appears that Chris Duhon has bruised ribs from the ACC Tournament!!! I just hope that three weeks afterward he can get himself out of bed and somehow find the energy needed to get out there and play...
