The Adu spot with Pele on 60 minutes was the first time i have seen these jerseys. I am happy to say that they look much better in real life then they do laid out in cartoon format like they are there.

Where are the stars?
I mentioned in another thread that I had found some star patches that might work. Check out http://www.centuryfitness.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10051&storeId=10051&productId=67771&langId=-1&product_parentId=13948&crumb=13501-13920&categoryId=13948&parent_category_rn=13947.
I'm not sure if they are the right color, size, etc. but its worth a shot.

When they say XL with these jerseys they mean XL! I'm 6'3" 185lbs and the XL was huge on me, had to sell it and then buy a large. Just a little bit of friendly advice. Mine did not come with stars either
I just ordered the 10 pack of gold stars, after they arrive and I use the 3 needed for my jersey I'll be willing to give away the other 7. I'll keep you all posted on how it turns out :)

Just a little bit of friendly advice. They are alot more like XL than the USA jerseys, that's for sure, but I'm 5'10" (if Freddy's 5'7") and 205lbs and it isn't THAT big on me. I just ordered two larges for the ladies in the house (so I get one of my XLs back), and ordered an XL white/away for myself.
Speaking of white being away .... and the black jerseys being for RFK .... yeah, it looks cool, but why do they do this on hot days????? Over 85, I say wear white, make the other team wear dark colors and die in the sun. I blame this for many of our too-tired-at-the-end losses last year.

Guess I better not predict any results for this weekend eh?! lol - you just have to do it in the "banter" thread.
On the other hand, the jerseys I ordered the other day just shipped !! I hadn't yet received the email saying so when I questioned your glass-half-full-ness.

Don't know, I'm not home ... But I have two jerseys already (from Eurosport, but they are out, or were) which are quite nice, after you get used to the funky collar. I broke the new home jersey in at the Charleston game where Freddy scored his first DC United goal. I will be wearing the same one Saturday! This shipment was an away jersey for me and home jersey birthday presents for my girlfriend and daughter.

Wow, Mr. Bastard, I never knew you were a true West Virginian...
BTW - I got mine last week in Charleston - yes, the Battery store had DC jersey's before we did... :(

Do they make the jersey in kid sizes? I looked high and low last year for one and came up empty handed. I wish they made an Xsmall or something.. heh... I have to wear the kid ones... how sad. o_O But last year I did buy an Xlarge one just for the heck of it and I love it all the same. ^_^ Maybe I'll have better luck this year!

http://www.dcunitedstore.com/dc20315561.html I wonder what the difference between an adult S and a youth XL are?

The youth ones are shorter I think.
Wow, thanks, I feel dumb I didn't even see them!

Wow, thanks, I feel dumb I didn't even see them!No need :) You can show me your gratitude at the tailgate on Saturday. Unless you are 17 or younger, in which case you can still show me whatever you want, it just has to be from at least 10 yards away ;)
Is it Saturday morning yet ?!?!?!?!?!?
