East Fife 1-0 Greenock Morton
FU<KING BRILLIANT!
I know there's only one Morton fan here, but who cares?
East Fife-Morton games have been, somewhat, intense for the past two seasons and to beat them on Saturday was fu<king sweet.
I thought we deserved it and have been the better team on more than one occasion this season against Morton.
Their fans really were a disgrace though. I've heard that quite a few rushed to the barrier and had to be held back by stewards. I've also heard numerous stories of Morton fan's obnoxious behaviour, before and after the match. One ned even had a go at me in the car park after the game.
Oh I forgot, Morton are "BIG TIME"!!!

I am exceptionally upset that you have ruined the outcome of this tie for me by posting the result in the thread name.
:p

OOPS.
I forgot that there is a delayed transmission of this game in most countries. Oh well, enjoy the game anyway, the goal's quite nice.

Why? Do you think we'll get the Shire in the Cup?
You certainly don't look like 1st div material to me, your strikers are hugely ineffectual.
See you in two years, when you get relagated!!

Stikers ineffectual? Ahh! Phil Cannie, you are correct. It's just lucky that Peter Weatherson will be back next season and your best player, Kenny Deucher, is signing a pre-contract agreement with us :D. We also had John Maisano out on Saturday, without him we are half the team we usually are!

I'm not just talking about Cannie. Weatherson and Williams have been anonymous in the last 3 games I've seen them. Just ask QoS fans if they think Weatherson is up to 1st division standard.
Deuchar has not signed a pre-contract agreement. You'll be lucky if he did, he's miles better than dumbo and the elephant man.
Fair enough, but we have a pretty big injury list ourselves.

It's not Weatherson's ability ON the pitch that anyone doubts...

Whatever the case with Deuchar and the pre-contract agreement he does want to leave you to play full-time football and Morton would seem the perfect move for him. Plus the fact Jim Moffat metioned it might be hard for the lad playing against Morton because he has been linked to us. It looks very possible that it will happen.

Weatherson has proved that he can be a quality player, at the start of the season. But, for whatever reason, it seems he's been well short of that form recently.
About Deuchar, I'm 90% sure that he has not signed a pre-contract with Morton at this time. There's doubt because Kenny does not need to inform Jim Moffat, even if he did sign one. So Jim cannot be 100% sure himself.
As Kenny is a fully qualified doctor now, he has always said that his aim is to go full time, and failing that, to give up football as it would be impossible to continue playing part-time football and be a doctor. Also, the man can't live on 20 odd quid a week when he could be earning good money as a doctor.
Morton are the clear favourites to sign him. A full-time, almost 1st div club and a team in which Kenny should be 1st team standard. It's pretty clear that McCormack is interested in him too. And a big strong striker has obviously be their aim for a while.
If Kenny went to Morton, I would wish him all the best 100%.
