No idea, I'm not cool enough to have an iPhone *sob* :(
Try emailing Rafael (rafa@worldsoccerdaily.com), he's the assistant producer and he might know. He's far more techy than I.

If you have a cell phone, I recommend the iPhone. It has great podcast coverage when you are on the road. The hardware is worth it.
I will contact Rafael.
Thanks.

I've chatted a bit with the members of the WSD forums, some of whom are iPhone junkies. Current apps apparently don't allow the live steaming yet. However, one guy is going to test the uStream iPhone app today and see if that works.

No luck on ustream. It requires too much bandwidth for me.
I know Sirius is coming in Q2 with the new software.

Yeah, they all have iPhones down there, it's almost their uniform :D
The people I know testing had about the same results as you. Rafa's got in house help tho..between WSD and the Poker team that Geber heads, I bet we'll find the answer.

Use fstream (free in the apps store)
Goto preset, then itunes, then talk/spoken word, then look for big soccer radio

Or, you can use Wunder Radio, which provides WSD live via the bigsoccer radio channel, as well as, well ,everything else (606 and all the BBC content, TalkSport, everything ESPN, etc.).
Not free, but a great app...

I did a trial of the new Sirius iPhone app. Unfortunately, 125 is not one of the channels they stream on it.

The fstream free app works well.

Ustream has a free app, but it eats up your battery pretty quickly. I think I can watch about 40-45 minutes of WSD before I get down to about 20% battery power
