Is the Finnish league ten or twelve teams in the top flight? Is is true that Finland wants to reduce the number of teams in its top flight?

Having read the league relegation and promotion structure from that link a second time, it actually looks like they plan on adding two teams for '03.

The Finnish Veikkausliiga will have 14 teams next season in the top flight. 2 teams will be relegated after the end of this season.

Currently HJK top the table with MyPa in second position.

What happened vs. Wales? I understand that Finland controlled the midfield and the run of play for most of the match, with Wales scoring on counterattacks. Is this true? Is the offense nonexistent without Forsell? Obviously plenty of time left in qualifying, but I hoped for a better start.

Yes, it was a dreadful start to our qualification campaign & I hope the team can pick up their game before it's too late.

Mikael Forssell is an important player for Finland & when he's not playing Finland have a lot of goal scoring problems.

Jonatan Johansson & Shefki Kuqi haven't produced expected results up-front so now Antti Sumiala may be called up. Forssell will also be away for the next two qualification matches so we need to quickly find somebody who can score goals for us.

Finland controlled the match but we lost because we couldn't score. We hit the post two times though & it could of been a totally different match. This time, Wales came out victorious.

I never expected this to happen but that's life & we have to hope for the best.
