Are Aresnal a bunch of well the poll says it. As much as I admire the way they play, the backage that comes with them drives me nuts.
1. More diving against Chelsea.
2. Took creatine for half the season (fergie refuses to let players take supplements)--note its banned in Europe.
3. Henry is arrogant (the ubiquitous chest beating) and attitude. (brilliant player though)
4. Edu is dirty. And sneaky. (ugly man)
5. Pires dives (nearly every game).
6. Viera is petulant, and dives like hes been shot. (good at this)--(kool player tho)
7. Layman is a joker.
8. Cole is a two footed tackler.
9. Parlour.
10. Cambell has big arms --hmm
We need to be careful how Arsenal play this game, they have every trick in the book to win. Even if it means standing in front of the ball when a free-kick is taking place or running of with it altogether a la Cole vs Citeh.
Feel free to flame me I care not. As a poll illustrated on 365 Arsenal are hated more than any other team.
Most of this is brought on by several things:
1. Lots of French players
2. Arsene Wongers disciplinary of players.
3. He "didn't see it".
4. Arrogance.
5. Anything to win attitude (including borderline cheating).
6. Man on the inside it doesnt matter (David dean FA, and vice type dude on the board of Arsenal)
Look at the fracas at the earlier this season.
Although they have improved in this matter 2%, they are still prone to bouts of (borderline cheating).
The display of monkey man Keown was a joke. Arsenal should of had 3 points deducted.

i lost respect for arsenal and started to dislike them when they showed their hospitality towards ruud after he missed the penalty. throw in all the other famous red cards and that stuff with the fact that they have just 2 english starters on their team.

Having said some of that, I think Wonger is a nice man and coach, he just needs to slap the players. I think the chairman and wonger bollocked the team after that display at OT.

I voted for "flipping burgers", just so they can see how the common man likes his flame broiled beef sandwiches....
Oh, and about your list up there, Acronym (the first one): Diving against Chelsea? They didn't have a chance as Chelsea was busy kicking them all over the place. Pires is a complete wanker when he dives, though, I must agree with you there. And as a General in "Edu's Army", I must take umbrage when you defame the nicest guy on the whole squad! Edu, dirty?? Sneaky???? C'mon, now...he may occassionally put a little "extra" into a tackle, but he's far from dirty, but sometimes he's quite sneaky with his right foot.
Cole's not playing this match, so he should be absolved from the list.
Even Arsenal fans are bored with seeing Parlour whack balls 40 rows deep into the stands every time he's within 40 yards of the goal, so you'd have a majority on your side there.
And Sol just can't help it if he has big elbows...I MEAN ARMS! ARMS!! His elbows are obviously never a problem.

Your a humerous guy.
Well with Edu I didn't mean dirty --as in tackles I meant when fracas' occur he's always there in the middle. There was two occasions against Chelsea I think one where Viera made a meal of it and another where Pires was mystically cropped. I do like the slinky football though. Our's this season has gone backwards and slow apart from when Ronaldo plays.

I have to say, there's nothing more funny or ironic than Arsenal and ManU fans arguing with each other and using words like "arrogant", "diving" or "cheater". I mean, really...look at yourselves.

Being in the middle of the fracas is one of his strong points!
And, even though I can't put my finger on it, I'm sure Pires flopped over like a fish at some point during the Chelsea match.
The Viera one: are you talking about the one where Desailly got sent off? I seriously think Paddy was trying to hurdle over that tackle, as there was nothing but 30 yards of green grass, God, and Chelsea's third string keeper between him and the goal. Desailly didn't catch him with much, but, seeing as he was already airborne, it couldn't have taken much to get him flipped sideways.
And with Henry: if you're that good, I have to say there's a little room for arrogance, IMO. I may hate RvN with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns, but I will cut him some slack because the man produces results, no matter what I think about his attitude.

It is funny though, that they hate us so very much, and we don't really care a whole lot about them. Are they our rivals on the pitch? Sure, they are second behind us in terms of success over the past decade. But do many United fans really hate Arsenal? Not really.

I voted for "a bunch of wankers".
That's good, right?
In other news, some ManUre fan is boring the hell out of me with his incessant whinging about Arsenal.

No fan should really be whining about diving, because let's face it, every team at this level has players who go down slightly more easily than they should. It's just more noticeable for teams at the top, because more is at stake, and more people are going to be watching. It happens in matches between United and Arsenal as much as ones that pit Boro against Everton. I just get annoyed when teams won't let go of incidents that happened months--if not years ago.

Achtung for BigSoccer President...
Man, this has to be a strong candidate for quote of the year... I know for a fact we have way less people on their boards than they have on ours... I mean, we have the occasional poster and those are generally good guys, but i love the ones who come over here and read our board and then go over to their boards and post about it....

The Arsenal and Arsene Wenger of a few seasons ago were cheating moaners whose football wasn't that good to watch. Early this season, the indiscipline came to a head. Since then in many respects they have turned it around, Wenger is not sounding so arrogant and neither are the rest of the players. Shame in a way as this was often their undoing. Coupled with that, they have been playing good fast, passing, possession football (though they still don't score enough goals per game yet to put them in the class of us of yesteryear).
I'm with the Coach on Henry. I hate his guts, but know it is because I wish he was playing for us. Most of the really top sportsmen are arrogant, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Ruud Van Nist, Henry. If you are the best, then your arrogance is justified, especially if you need it to give the xtra 10% others can't match.
So I voted for a great side.
Having said that, Pires is a disgrace. Reminds me of David Ginola with his acting - what is it with french wide players? Agree on Cole's two-footed tackling (something he shares with Stephen Gerrard) & Lehmen is a git. Also, the temperament of the likes of Vieira, Edu, Lauren, Lehmen hasn't been tested of late and given the history of the sides it will do on Sunday.
Maybe run another poll after the game and compare :)

The fact that Arsenal are playing Man United this weekend might have a little something to do with that, and seeing that it is one of the more important fixtures of the season, it requires more than just the normal threads.

So what accounts for all those threads being there the other 51 weeks of the year?

I got to say the way Viera got Desailly sent off was a joke. He saw him coming and dived over him. He couldnt look at him.
And today Arsehole Wanker blamed Ruud on this seasons fracas.
Damn hope they get beat man.
