I'll take another two goals please.

Hopefully Forlan gets in the game and can get on the sheet.

It's the ideal game for Forlan to get his first. United have a 2 goal lead and they are controlling play. No pressure on Diego today.

Rio's playing very well in his first game back.

RVN earns a PK, Ilic sent off, RVN takes it (after it looked like Forlan was going to take it)...

4-0, United.

Great result. However, too bad for Diego, having the ball taken away from him on the Penalty & then having his goal disallowed. Keep working Diego.

Scholes out for at least two weeks with an ankle injury. Here's a link:

23 shots for United, 10 of which were on target. An impressive display, especially considering the importance of the game. It's a good sign that United's thriving on the pressure again this year.

Subs: Williams , Chadwick , Stewart , Solskjaer , Forlan , O'Shea , Tierney

Doesn't look like Fergie's got much experience coming off the bench. Pretty confident of a win, eh? :)

All in all, it sounds like it was a great display of soccer. Too bad nobody in the US had an opportunity to see it.
