They ban youtube? That's ridiculous! It's not like you regularly surf the 'net instead of working. ;)

After watching the Paq fight, I decided to look up some hilights of boxing. Anyone remember when Roy Jones Jr, or was it Mayweather, but anyway they were coming torwards the center of the ring and they started two stepping, before he caught his dude with a good combo...

Paq should've done the crip walk before that left he fed Hatton.

The speed of that Hearns/Duran one is mental. Almost looks like they've skipped a few frames in the .gif.

Roach and Richardson are the premier trainers and yesterday Roach couldn't have looked any more prescient than he did. He called the fight to the wire.. Pacman vs. Mayweather is next on the cards, if MM doesn't duck, which he most probably will.

Roach says Mayweather is asking for a 60-40 split.... that's his way of ducking the fight, for sure.

Typical Mayweather dodge tactics. He is an embarassment to his own legacy with how he does things like this.

Let's remember that hype is part of it too. Pacman pulled the same stuff when he originally agreed to a 50-50, then wanted it changed to a 60-40.

The fight will happen. Let him beat Marquez first.

Still think the fight will happen no matter what. It is a bit of a tactic to demand 60-40 now, but the Marquez fight will clear up/establish some fresh negotiation positions I think.

RUN FLOYD RUN!!!

Here's a Youtube Playlist of a real-life Rocky fight, Jeff Harding vs. Dennis Andries for the WBC Light Heavyweight title in 1989. It was Andries' first defense in his second stint with the title after winning it against Tony Willis, after initially losing it to Thomas "Hitman" Hearns in 1987. Andries was initially set to face someone else, but his opponent was injured a week before the fight and his promoters had to find someone who they thought could at least go a few rounds against the champ, who had won his last 3 fights by TKO in the 5th, 4th, and 8th rounds respectively. Harding - a young 24 year old Australian fighter with an inexperienced but impressive 14-0 record with 11 KO's - was called upon to step in and hopefully put on a decent fight. Nobody could have expected the two men, one a veteran champion, the other a kid still on his way up, to put on such a show.

Anyone seen "Tyson" , the recent documentary?

Pretty good. Lot's of good clips, good insight into the guy. It is nice to see him on the up and up recently.

Klitschko/Haye is off. (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_5361702,00.html)

Hand injury for the Hayemaker. Valuev being lined up by Klitschko instead, who's fight last Saturday was pulled after his opponent Chagaev tested positive for Hepatitis B.

Shame, was looking forward to that.

That sucks.... was really hoping that would end up being a good fight...

Although I did hope that Haye would win, I will say that he definitely didn't deserve his title shot.

I'd like to see Arreola vs. Haye.

About 2:10 into this video, it says something along the lines of ""Yes without a doubt I don't have any problems with giving him (Margarito) another fight. We can fight in L.A. or MSG, it doesn't matter "

Now Cotto vs. Margarito 2 is a fight I would LOVE to see. There's so much confusion surrounding that fight, I would love to see it settled in the ring.
