Im just watching fox football phone in, a caller called in asking how far Tottenham was from reaching the top 4 they said no dice, then they spoke about the Financial trouble of Arsenal, then it came to me and i dont really have anyone to talk about it with, but does anyone else see Man City replacing arsenal in the top 4? I know there performance this year is substandard, but they are on the Abramovich plan now where money no longer matters and there biggest problem is attracting the biggest talent since money is no longer a concern.

City can break the top 4 but their biggest hindrance is that none of the worlds top players seem to want to join them - which is understandable.

Money can get you where you want but not as quick as some seem to think. Money attracts players but, despite what some cynics think, players do still have some pride and sacraficing their success for financial gain is not everyone's cup of tea.

City have to climb the ladder, so to speak, and that will mean a couple of years of signing good players to increase their profile, but I cannot see the likes of Villa, Kaka, Ronaldo, Fabregas, Terry or Messi moving there, regardless of what the papers say.

Tottenham are the perrenial unde-acheievers. Lot's of money and potential, but they've been undermined by useless administration.

Arsenal are safe for now but Villa and Everton are making decent headway.

Money can only make a difference if the manager can handle it, and Hughes can't. Chelsea adapted well to their bankrolling because of Mourinho - having the most expensive players doesn't make the best team.

Funny that, seeing as most ABU's use the line that Unites have bought their success.

Money does not buy success - but it does help and City have more than anyone else put together and mutiplied times over.

The coming months will be interesting.......

Nah - nobody said that. We all though you jammed your way to success, via a little help from refs and the FA!
