Man. I feel like a jerk. I grew up with a Dad who forced me to play soccer when all I wanted to do was breakdance and skateboard. And pot. Let's not forget the pot.
13 years ago he took me to the Rose Bowl to watch the first ever Galaxy game. I probably napped through it all.
Now, I am a dad of my own. And I will probably want my son to play soccer, since I have since discovered how awesome it is.
But I mainly watch Euro games, because I want to see the best clubs play, and ignore the MLS. In August, I will be going back to the Rose Bowl for the first time since the Galaxy opener, probably rockin' an Iniesta jersey.
I think I am going to buy a lil Galaxy jersey for my son. And maybe start paying attention to more Galaxy games.
