Live on Fox Sports World for us poor North Americans. YAY!

I'll be at Gingers (http://www.gingersalehouse.com) if any of the Chicago faithful care to join me.

DAMN! The one time you are actually in Chicago and Ginger's, I am teaching. Doesn't my high school know that footie trumps everything??? Wink.

Have fun! I will be watching the replay tonight and fighting sleep.

Zach: Shouldn't you be in school? LOL I'm sure Fast Eddies will be crowded and Ginger's should have a few people. If we can pack Ginger's backroom on a Thursday afternoon Arsenal vs. Lokomotiv match....the place should be rockin for these 2 powerhouses.

I was going to watch the match at Goal Post since the match was on Fox Sports World would spare me a long slog through both the Kennedy and Stevenson had I gone to Fast Eddie's, but the Goal Post said they were having "techincal diffulties" and I am forced to track the match on UEFA.com.

I meant to say "technical difficulties." You would have never guessed I got an 'A' in Word Processing in High School. :D

peformance I made a similar remark at my local - although I said he'd never have to buy a pint in Glasgow for the rest of his life. The lad was marvelous.

'TIC!

That has to rank as one of the crappest performances I've ever seen from a professional fitba club. Still and all the result was got.

If ever I see Marshall I'm sure I'll spot him a pint or two. or three. or four......

Yeah, I did'nt play hooky.
But to not see the game live and to watch the game 4 hours later in Spanish was defintly worth it.
Way to go Bhoys

just saw the replay and I've got to say it was one of the most entertaining nil-nil draws I've seen. Tremendous pressure from Barcelona but Celtic held firm and Marshall was outstanding. The save in the first minute and the one on Luis Garcia in the second half were just tremendous. Reading the report on Soccernet Martin O'Neill said the team gave him a round of applause in the dressing room after the game, and O'Neill told him "you might as well retire after tonight". Ha!

I got a chance to watch the game and I was sure that Barca was going to get at least one before the game was finished. Ronaldinho is exciting to watch regardless of who you root for. Congrats to Celtic, they really stole this series.

Just got back from Chicago where I could not log onto BS most of the weekend. Unless you are referring to Barca's perfomance I can't agree. It was one of the ballsiest, courageous (sic.) defensive performances I've ever seen a team put in. Celtic played the breakaway well and looked like nicking a goal several times.

If you had come up to me at any point before the game and up to the 75th minute and offered to bet on Celtic being able to keep Barca out and hold onto a 1 goal lead, I wouldn't have taken your money. Just didn't think it possible.

Probably the greatest Celtic game I've ever seen. I hauled a friend along. We hadn't seen each other in a few months and had lunch and caught up before and during the first half. He's not much of a football fan, but the atmosphere in Gingers -- we were sitting next to a clutch of Irish/Scots old men -- and coming over the TV from the Camp Nou affected him. At the end of the game, he was as transfixed as anyone in the place. "********, that was some game for no scoring!" was his comment after the final whistle.

On top of the Fire's equally improbably 4-0 comeback on Wendesday it was the cap of a fabulous football vacation. I'm still hoarse.
