Ciao,
First let me state I brag about our countries diversity in our soccer teams and love all our players (except for maybe Alexi Lalas :) ).
But, I myself am primarily Italian-America, and I am trying to make a list of italian-american or italian connected people in the game for the USA.
Here is a list I have so far:
Frank Borghi
Gino Pariani
Charlie Columbo
Tom Florie
Paul Caligiuri
Tabre Ramos-Ricciardi
Tony Meola
Robert Contiguglia
Bruce Arena
Pablo Mastreoni
Santino Quaranta
Kyle Martino
Salvatore Zizzo
Domonic Cervi
Patrick Ianni
Gabriel Ferrari
Vincenzo Bernardo
Possible?
Angelo DiBernardo
Marcelo Balboa
Barry Barto?
any help would be great :)

There could also be players without obvious Italian surnames that have Italian heritage as well.

60% of Argentina's population has italian heritage. Mastreoni is one, I didn't know if Balboa (Rocky? lol) was one of them.
There was a lot of immigration to the south americas, some of my family went to Brazil instead of NYC.
I don't believe Reyna is though, as the letter y probably means he is portuguese or something else i guess.
Ramos was born in Uruagay, but his mother was italian (Ricciardi).

Mastoeni and Balboa are both of Italian heritage.

Guisippe Rossi
I still see the images of how he could have become a legend in America.

I'm thinking maybe Steve Cherundolo. For what wikipedia is worth, he is listed here as Italian-American:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Italian-American_sportspeople
but not on this list:

Also:

Hope this kid develops into something and makes us proud

Pete Renzulli, who played for several New York clubs, may have been the best American goalkeeper of the 1920s.
Aldo "Buff" Donelli, who was from Pittsburgh, scored four goals in a 1934 World Cup qualifier against Mexico. He still holds a share of the record for goals by a player in one game for the USMNT.
Borghi, Pariani and Colombo weren't the only Italian-Americans among the St. Louis players on the 1950 World Cup team. Frank Wallace was Italian-American. The name he was born with was Valicenti.
