Here we go again. Wolves.
Must win, blah, blah, blah.

Gerrard is fit, despite coming off early yesterday.

My first thoughts on the lineup: "If it ain't broke . . . "

..................Dudek

..Carragher--Biscan--Hyypia--Riise

Murphy--Hamann--Gerrard--Kewell

............Owen--Heskey

Subs:
Luzi
Baros
Henchoz
Cheyrou
Diouf

Although I could see GH switching Baros and Heskey, and possibly Henchoz and Biscan.

If Henchoz has a few knocks that he needs time to recover from I'd rather see Traore on the bench.

Heskey did well last night so there's no reason why we shouldn't rest Baros for another game and keep him fresh for the coming run-in.

C'mon the RedMen.

Right again, it worked against Pompy.

I think I'd play Milan over Emile but other than that leave it alone.

That's a tough one. I could see it going either way.

I think it's obvious that Baros is a bigger scoring threat that Heskey. Maybe GH thinks that Owen is more effective paired with Heskey than with Baros.

Baros and Owen haven't had much time together as a strike pair. Whenever one's been fit and in-form, seems that the other hasn't been.

I would play Baros over heskey everytime but would slap Baros round the head and tell him to play as a centre forward and stop trying to take plaers on he gets the ball caught in his feet to many times and if Liverpool get a penalty let Wellard take it.

This will be a hard game for The Reds because Wolves really need the points and will fight tooth and nail to get them especially Incey. So dont be to shocked if we only draw.

It'll be hard, but remember we're fighting for something too. I actually will be shocked if we draw Wolves at home. A tough one, but 1-0 to the Reds, I'd guess.

Think you've got a good point about Baros running at defenders, though.

Oh, and welcome.

I always thought that Heskey would be good for us and in the first year he was. Unfortunately since then he has not been. He ahs lost his run and has decided that playing with his back to the goal is what he wants to do. If that is the case I do not want to watch. Baros is the man for me as I like his pace and although his finishing at times can be a little iffy we are only putting him up against Heskey.....enough said. Get the number 5 onto the field and leave him there.

Welcome, dogboy17.

Heskey's got, in theory at least, a role to play as a target man to draw defenders and set up Owen. The more we've gotten away from those type of long-ball tactics, though, the less useful Emmo has begun to look.

However, I think he's still got a role to play with LFC--though maybe not as a starting striker. His workrate and heart are phenomenal. Despite his much-parodied "slip and fall" tendencies, he's been a great servant to the Club, and I'm glad to have him with us.

I think Heskey, Riise, Biscan should stay in the first 11 for this one. Rest Henchoz for tougher games to come. Keep Riise in because of wide threat, and Wolves will prolly turtle most of the game. Keep Baros on for a mid second half sub in case we are still nil-nil or one-one.

Are we at page two yet? Where's the good luck charm? I'm willing to look at Rowan Atkinson's ballbag daily if it means we turn out of this slump.

2-0 Reds. I think we are about to go on a roll.

Man, due to school, haven't been to this site in ages!! whatup fellow red men???

We really really need these three points, and a nice, resounding victory plus clean sheet would be much appreciated. That being said, with our inconsistent form this season, a 1-0 win would be ok as well.

Here's hoping to a Charlton-Newcastle draw.

Kold 77 Krush - going on a nice long win streak would be perfect right about now. With only 10 matches left, every single point counts!! So lets go bbq some wolf meat!!!!!

And here's to a Charlton-Newcastle draw!!!

Hey Anomaly, welcome back.

I like JimBob's prediction. I'd settle for 2 or 3-0, though.... Or basically, any scoreline that gets us 3 points.

While we're all wishing for stuff...I'd like to see Kewell score one or two.

[Hey, I'm not superstitious, by why take chances?]

Once you empty your wallet to settle up, you should have plenty of room for that nut, though.
