Any updates?

I know... I know. If there were any substantial updates to the Portland Timbers team it would have already been posted. However, if anybody has heard or seen anything in the local papers from around Portland maybe there was some additional info spilled?

To be honest, I'm pretty anxious to hear any news. I love Portland and I love the Northwest and I'm planning on moving there in the near future. However, while this may sound silly, if the MLS expansion falls through then I'll probably be opting to move to Seattle instead. I know, I know... Portland has a USL team, but for me it's just not the same thing. I'm deeply rooted in the rivalries, the playstyle, and the whole culture surrounding MLS and it's very important to me that I can attend regular games and buy season tickets when I move.

Anyways, any updates, even small ones are appreciated. Thanks! :)

P.S. I am so so so looking forward to an awesome Sounders - Timbers rivalry!

Yes I agree, The Timbers probably would like a few more butts in the seats though. That makes one less me and my Scarf happy friends can't grab for the first PDX-SEA in portland game!!
