beckham vrs. c.ronaldo

ok this is not one of those stupid ronaldo vrs. beckham threads. we all know who is superior. hint: he can go past other players.

well my post is about something ronaldo said when he arrived at manchester: im not beckham, please stop comparing us.(not exact words, but he did say something like that.).

so first the obvious, there style of play is way different, you just need to see them play once to know their styles are different. ronaldo's style is more like figo's and denilson's.

ok my real point is, ronaldo is kind of a hypocrit he says dont compare me to beckham but he has a lyfesyle thats almost exactly the same. ok i wouldnt say excatly the same if ronaldo would just spend alot like becks. but buying in the same store? and driving the same car?(this one can be just coincidence, bmw x5), funky hairstyles?

if he doesent want to get compared to becks then stop trying to be him of the pitch. i also find ronaldos lyfestyle irresponsible, his wages are no way near becks, also he doesnt even have 1% of becks media income. so trying to live like someone 100 times richer than you is kind of stupid.

but im not flaming ronaldo, he has done some good things with his cash, like buy a better home for his family in portugal.

i think this is happening due to the "never had a penny" effect. unlike becks who was never rich as a kid but was well cared by his parents, becks didnt even started spending like ronaldo when he was 23!

anyway most of becks flashy clothes now are obiously gifts from designer companies, since he gets alot of media attention, he is gonna be seen wearing the outfits. but ronaldo has to buy them.( i dont say becks gets all for free, but he might get a lot).

im not saying ronaldo is a bad person or a player that sucks. i think he is the best player at man utd with RVN. but i just felt the need to point this out , that maybe hes a hypocrite, which i hope he is not.
please dont start a flaming this thread i just want to know what you think of this.

what i mean is that i find him as a hypocrite since he says he is not beckham, but does exactly what he does of the pitch.

i dont really care what he does with his money, i just wanted to point out that he is not as true to his word as he seems.

and if you noticed i said he is my favorite player with ruud, so i dont hate him, i just find it kind of funny that fist thing that comes out of his mouth once he arrived at man utd. isent exactly what he means.

its like for example, adriano is bought by real, coming as a replacement for ronnie, and he says he is not ronaldo, but he starts to copy fattys lifestyle, drinks, parties, every hole he can stick his thing in, calories, exactly copying fattys lyfestyle while he said he was a different person, so he gets out of form, but still plays good.

so dont insult me by saying i follow cris ronaldo around, its that i find it kind of strange and hypocrite if he says he is not beckham, dont compare me to him, but exactly copies becks way of life. not that i care if he does, so please dont flame.

i just know about his lifestyle because im doing an essay for school with a friend and my subject is manchester united last 5 years. and there is a section on transfers. and i put his name on google and bam alot of news on ronaldo appears, so i read them, and then i remembered he said he didnt want to be compared to becks, so i started to theorize.

Lets assume that what you say is true. Then CR has the right to do it. Why not? If I were millionaire I might do the same.

Firstly, the BMW X5 is the greatest Sports Utility Vehicle in the world, made by the best car company in the world and if I had that kinda money, i would own one too... Many young players have rico suave hairdo's its just a fact... especially from his region... and the places that Ronaldo can afford to shop in, the general public probably cant... Becks of course could afford and if they both shop in say 10 stores then at maybe they have a couple in common... who cares... I really don't think u've got a valid point in your argument...

1. If it doesn't say "Jeep" or "Land Rover" on it, its not a real SUV. ;)

2. Ronaldo should be able to live whatever lifestyle he likes, as long as it doesn't interfere with his on-field performance. The reason that became an issue with Becks is that it did start to affect him on the field. Ronaldo is a flashy kind of guy, but plays a different style than Beckham. If he likes to spend, he should be able to. You'd be hard pressed to find star footballers who don't live a somewhat lavish lifestyle, and own a fancy car.

If I may paraphrase, "Footballin' ain't easy, but sho' is fun". :D

I've got this gut feeling that Ronaldo will end up betraying man u fans and going to Spain or Italy once/if he establishes himself as a big name in football. He just doesn't strike me as either a humble or loyal sort of team player like a Giggs or Scholes.

i miss seeing the step-over moves as a fan.. when he first came to manyoo, i know he did multiple tricks and never got the job done.. but it was pretty to watch.. i know, management has cut that out and he has turned into a real prospect.. but it was wicked in the early part of the season with the party tricks.. IMHO~~~

seems like ronaldihno or Ronaldo (RM) do it effectively tho...

phishy~ He still does some tricks, just not to such a ridiculous extent (e.g. the season opener vs. Bolton - but it worked there because nobody expected it).
