Will be in an all day meeting and then playing soccer after work, so will get to the game only at about 9 pm. Sigh.

I would like to see Mikel start and Ballack rested for football reasons

Would like to see Q come off the bench, otherwise stick with what is working very importent to get a win and Everton are very very tough. Might want to give Mancienne time at left back if he is seriously being considered for Barca

They're likely to be tired from Sunday, extra time and all.

Good point.

Still though. Let's come off the blocks quick and score a lot. I would also bet that we see Mikel start. I'm hoping for it to be honest. Of course I always do.

The importance of CL money can't be stated.

Thanks to Liverpool bottling it tonight, we have little to no choice to put out the strongest team available and hope we don't have a season ending injury to a key player.

Must-win if we are to keep our already slim chances of finishing on top alive. Also have to pray that Pompey can steal a point from O.T, which is about as likely to happen as C. Ronaldo going a game without diving.

That's put me in a good mood this morning. I'd love to see him get 15 mins if we're up a couple of goals.

Would love to see this team:

----------Cech-----------
Ivan---Carv----Terry----Cole
----------Mikel------------
----Essien------Lamps-----
--Kalou---Drogba---Malouda

Hilario, Alex, Mancienne, Belletti, Mellis, Quaresma, Anelka

That's our best 11 in my opinion (possibly with Anelka on one of the wings instead of either Kalou or Maoulda). I do wonder about the Mellis inclusion a little. What's the deal with Ballack?

Everton are a potential banana skin and can't be taken too lightly tonight. I expect Hiddink to field a strong team with a couple of changes. If he intends to play Mancienne at left back against Barcelona he should give him a try out in that position tonight. I am in favour of resting Ballack and Drogba and using them if needed. Mikel can be used as our DM with Essien and Lampard in midfield. I would start Quaresma, Anelka and Malouda up front.

So my starting lineup would be.....Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Mancienne, Essien, Mikel, Lampard, Quaresma, Anelka and Malouda.

Subs: Hilario, Carvalho, Cole, Ballack, Kalou, Drogba and Di Santo.

As Moyes apparently will rest some of his regulars the above starting lineup shoud do the job for us.

I'm really bored now and just want to watch the match. PVRs are great and all, but I wish they could fast forward from the present :p :D

tell the truth, do you ever try to hit an imaginary rewind button at the movies, the hotel tv, or boring conversations you drift in and out of.;)..that would be a nice feature as well
