week 32 serie a thoughts
just watched the juve inter match, buffon is still really, really good in case anyone forgot. granted, because post-calciopoli there are less juve fans, he gets less vocal defense in those tired BS "who's best keeper" debates.
fiorentina and genoa both stumbled, maybe roma will somehow pull this rabbit out of the hat and get 4thh after all. cavani needs to go to a bigger team soon, possibly d'agostino as well, too bad udinese's back line was banged up and they had a dreadful couple of months, really blew a nice start and now di natale is gone as well. on paper they should be fighting right up there with genoa/fiore/roma for the fourth cl spot

If we have any sense... and I mean any sense in this world. We'll bring him back to Madrid and not sell him to any EPL team.

I was saying that shit on the Madrid forum last season....or asking if you would bring him back.

Bordeaux 1-0 Lyon
Alou Diarra ex Lyon. some might remember his exit was somewhat acrimonious
and on the passage of play Bordeaux deserve it. having fun down the Lyon left flank. Chalme in particular and Marseille won 2-1 today already so Lyon are 1 pt behind and are playing a game extra right now

Milan hit 5, go up to joint 2nd in the table. Hattrick from Inzaghi, 2 assists from Beckham. Milan are rounding into form, and if they can keep this up then at least they'll be in next years CL. Still 10 points off Inter though with 6 games to go - that's not gonna be overcome, most likely.

AZ Dutch champs, they lost 2-1 to Vitesse but so did everyone else especially Ajax who were the last spoilers getting thumped 6-2 by PSV
Bordeaux did the job and won 1-0.
Valencia 3-1 Sevilla
Villarreal 0-0 Valladolid
Udinese 3-1 Fiorentina
Hamburg 2-1 Hannover 96
Hertha Berlin 2-1 Werder Bremen

my mistake the thing i saw wasnt updated till end of round but they all played 32 games. regardless Marseille are 4 clear and Lyon has a much harder run in that the rest so it is possible they wont even make CL
