It would be the team they played in the FA Cup final. In 2002, Arsenal won the league and defeated Liverpool the FA Cup final. The following year, those two teams played in the Charity Shield.

Its only Ray Parlour

No it's the team that finished 2nd in the league. That year Liverpool finished 2nd above Man U (shock horror).

So i guess we'll be facing Chelsea at this rate. :D

Lets also hope we lose the charity shield. More times than not, the winner does not win the title.

This is also a good match to get tickets for the whole family. The shift to Cardiff puts a lot of fans off travelling, because they don't want to go that far for a friendly. I've been to the last 2 and it's a good day out!

This year was my yankie missus' first live soccer match. She loved it and totally understood why I'm so fanatical. The only trouble was she was really embarrassing to be with. We sat behind the goal the Gunners attacked in the second half and when she wasn't making up cheerleader style chants she was yelling a constant stream of abuse at the ManUre players!

Do you mean to tell me you didn't feel a little bit of pride at the abuse?
