not having Marlon King hurt Watford. Seeing Demerit go down is tough, at least Fulham isn't going down as well. The American contingent in the EPL would have suffered greatly.

Of course I'd rather have them stay up, but too late for that.

Actually, I really don't mind Jay going down.
He played mostly well this season, but the team didn't succeed. He's an integral part of the Watford now, not just a wandering gunslinger and has a good future there. His future is tied to the team.

They will have to grind their way through the Championship for a year. I'm looking forward to him staying with Watford and watching their Championship campaign next year.

The only bummer is finding a way to watch CCC in the US. It's a new frontier for me. I'm OK with it.

Really a shame he couldn't have played more of this season. He'll tear a hole in the championship next season though.

Interesting...looks like the Hornets are assuming Jay will be gone next season, on USA duty (but possibly to another squad?).

How is Poom? Anyone seen him play?

About the only person that I know of, offhand, that may be able to answer that question for you is Mixmastermatt on the Arsenal forum.

It might be worth asking the question on one of the Arsenal transfer threads
(we don't bite......much) or sending him a PM.:)

Poom is alot more solid that Rich Lee who has a habit of giving his defenders cardiac problems with his lack of authority in the air and his feeble kicking.

Of course we will miss Ben Foster but with the squad pretty much in tact from the Prem season and with one or two quality signings we won't be far away.
