How much difference the qualification to the semis of CL makes on this one ?
Will it effect the team choosen ?
I would give some players a rest in this one. Think we can win this without say Ronaldo or Evra.

---------------Rooney/Macheda/Welbeck--------Tevez--------
I still we can win it with that team, Everton hardly attacks down the wing so dont see the fullbacks as a risk, both Osman and Pienaar cuts in so we can even play Gary but against Pienaar, he may be burnt.

Boss will ring the changes (http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid={F9E570E6-407E-44BC-800F-4A3110258114}&newsid=6630902&page=1) <<<---- Click to read full article (from manutd.com).
Sir Alex has confirmed he may make a number of changes to his United line-up for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Everton at Wembley.
The boss says that Wednesday's Champions League win in Porto, and its high-speed nature against tough opponents, took a lot out of his players.

i'd love to see macheda from the start. Also, Nani looked competent in his time on the pitch in portugal. it would be great for his confidence if he got the start.

Rooney on the bench against EVERTON? I don't think so...

Rooney has always said he dreams of winning in Wembley, I know it isn't the final, but it is a big occasion and I am sure he would want to play against Everton.

Rooney got a knock on Wednesday ... i would put him on the bench if he's not 100%. I will start young guys and load up the bench. I will give Macheda or Welbeck) a start. Probably go with Macheda since Everton is a physical side. Gibson and Fletcher in CM should be enough to combat Everton.

Nani--Gibson--Fletcher--Park
Fabio--Evans--Vidic--Neville

Yup, Park and Rafael on the right is what I would want, but it will most likely be Neville vs. Pienaar.

We must rest Rio at all costs. I'd have him on the bench as a back up just in case things go pear shaped.

I would look at it from a point of getting the defensive stability back and every clean sheet helps.

Bench = VDS, Evans, OShea, Carrick, Ronaldo, Rooney, Macheda
The bolded players are all injury doubts obviously.

that is probably prudent, but the question is whether there is more benefit in him being rested for our next match but not quite match fit, or him being more match fit, but having less time to recover. Keeping in mind that many injuries occur when players are tired or lack fitness.
