Mr Hanki -- Great stuff, as always.

I'm curious, have you ever calculated what team came the closest to "theoretical best" in a week?

I suppose comparing by % would be more accurate than raw points, in either case it would be interesting to know.

I haven't been able to pull up MFLS.com in the past three days..... anyone else having a problem with them ?

I actually post that information above. Metrostars119 got 52 points last week as the top performer, compared to the maximum 84.

Also, I haven't not been able to get into MFLS either.

Sorry, I should have stated my question better.

I was looking for a comparison of weekly performances across the season. Who has come this closest this season? Who has come the closest ever? That kind of thing.

I haven't been able to get to the site either, and it's really annoying me a I can't remember which strikers I settled on this week. I'm pretty sure I had Ruiz in my line-up, but not as sure as I'd like to be. :)

It's been at leat that many days for me too. Then again, after some fairly stupid micromanaging moves, I do not want to see it.
If, however, I ever am able to raise the site again, I am going to go back to my original lineup of a month ago, and never log on again.

I envy those of you who can resist the urge to tweak!! Oh yeah, and parity STILL s*cks!

Can't get in either ...

Could you imagine if the whole MFLS website was deleted?

That would mark the end of MFLS and the beginning of Sporting News MLS Fantasy soccer.

and on a personal note I think that would totally suck. I'm not a fan of the Sporting News game. I don't think MFLS is incredible but I like it much better than that game.

I tried that for about two weeks, then quit after they failed to update their stats before the next round of games was played. (And when they did update stats, did so incorrectly.) We're not talking the minor glitches that any game is going to have, but systemic errors. Regardless of whether the game is of the style you prefer, that is unforgivable. (Unless the game is clearly an alpha or beta test, which Sporting News MLS wasn't.)

p.s. - MFLS is still down ...

It's back up.
