Arsenal 5 v 1 Wolves - carling cup this season
Arsenal 3 v 1 AIK Solna - champs league at wembley

ive been to over 100 games but cant remember all of them my first game was at highbury against west ham and we lost 1-0 i remember seeing vince bartram in goal for us and thinkining that we would lose this game anyway coz he was ********!

my next game was either in 98 or 99 against dinamo kiev at wembley!

also when iw as travelling last year i went to see;

Barcelona 2 v 0 Celta da vigo - ******** game, was really boring, stadium only just half full

Athletico Madrid 0 v 4 Real Madrid - what a ********ing game

i was caught in a riot b4 the game - hundreds of people were firing guns and throwing bricks and glass at everyone and i had to run for my lif, i thought i was going to die, i escaped tho after climbing over 3 fences and running across some waste land, thru the tv van area - they wouldnt let me in thier vans to hide so i carried on running till the police broke it up - cant remember much about the game except for four quality goals and i was chattin to some bloke from mexico who supported cruz azu!

also when i went to paris a few weeks ago i went to see;

Paris st germain 6 v 1 montpelliere - at the parc des princes which is a fantastic ground, was a great game!

My first ever game in Europe was the 2001 Champions League Final with Bayern beating Valencia on penalties. I've since been to Arsenal v Grimsby, Villa, Sunderland, Southampton, and the Tony Adams Testimonial vs Celtic. Oh, and I admit it, I was missing footie so bad last year I went to two of the ManU tour games vs Juve and the one here in Philly vs Barca (I wore my Adams kit and heard the donkey noise quite a lot).

Arsenal 1 v 0 Liverpool, 27/01/02, FA Cup
I was a huge fan of English football looking for a club to follow. I read Fever Pitch so I decided to check out an Arsenal match. I enjoyed Highbury but it wasn't until I got home and started to see them regularly on TV that I became bound to the club. I haven't looked back since.

Arsenal 3 v 0 Tottenham, 16/11/02
My boss has some good football contacts. He got these tickets from a friend of a friend and they ended up coming from a Norwegian playing for Tottenham so we were in the away section! I would have preferred being with the home fans but it was an experience I'll never forget. Henry's goal was one he picked for his top three in the Centurions video.

Arsenal 3 v 1 Aston Villa, 30/11/03
This one was particularly memorable because my wife and kids came. We're all serious Arsenal fans so it was quite a moment.

Inter Milan 1 v 5 Arsenal, 25/11/03
I was pretty nervous a few weeks before this one. I had plans to go and if things had gone a bit differently, this game would have been meaningless. But everything came together and it turned out to be something I'll never forget.

Arsenal 0 v 0 Fulham, 30/11/03
Very frustrating. So many chances but none went in.

1994 World Cup Quarter-final, Dallas

The Netherlands v. Brazil

First game I ever witnessed, and I'll probably never be able to top it. I was only 13 at the time, but I still understood the magnitude of the class of athleticism I witnessed along with everyone else at the Cotton Bowl that day.

This year, Arsenal v. M'boro (Jan 10) -- 4-1

Went all the way to the UK for a match, and it couldn't have been better (except for that last shite goal by 'Boro). Was hoping to see Bergs (for the 2nd time), but he was still injured. Oh well.

Only 2 matches on my resume, but I got plenty of time to add more.

Arsenal 0 - 1 Fiore - CL '99

You will never hear so many people more quiet than after this match at Wembley.

Arsenal 0 - 0 Newcastle - Prem '99

Make that 180 minutes of Arsenal without a goal.

-Colorado Caribou ?, NY Cosmos ? (circa late '70s/early 80s)
-US 1, Mexico 0 (2002, friendly at the new Mile High)
-US ?, Derby County ? (??, friendly at the old Mile High)
-A handful of largely forgettable Rapids games

I only get to go when my Uncle (a season ticket holder) is out the country on business, or the VERY rare occasions tickets make it to General Sale.

This season I got along to:

Arsenal vs Manchester City
Arsenal v Chelsea (woo!)
Arsenal v Birmingham
Arsenal v England - Martin Keown Testemonial

The testimonial game was soooo much fun. Very few season ticket holders about, and with the North Bank back under the control of regular fans the noise was astonishing.

Very few season ticket holders in their regular seats, most of us sat with friends who we used to stand with in the good old days

Probably contributed to the atmosphere as well. Easier to make a tit of yourself making too much noise with mates than strangers :)

Maybe its just the part of the North bank by uncle is in - its a bit of a library up there most games ive been too - except for "the pesimistic comentator" 3 rows back who seems to think the whole stadium wants to hear his pissant whining.

I don't miss standing though - legs aint what they used to be. Remember watching Enfield as a kid, not being able to see a whole lot, the fences, the riots. Dunno bout "good old days" :)

Besdies I dont think I could stand for 90 minutes anyway - so unfit its not funny lol.
