The Metrofans give DC a hard time. When we remind them of our past, they give us a harder time.

They seem so bitter, I cannot understand why, until you look at their glorious history.


1996- Peter Vermes, Tab Ramos and Tony Meola complain a lot. Team fires coach. Team loses a lot.

1997- Tab Ramos and Tony Meola complain a lot. Tab Ramos gets injured. Team fires coach. Team loses a lot.

1998 - Tab Ramos complains a lot. Tab Ramos gets injured. Team loses an awful lot. Team hires coach who cannot put three English words together.

1999- Tab Ramos gets injured (and is hurt so bad he stops complaining). Khakpour and Curcic are team saviors. Team loses even more. Team fires coach who cannot put more than 3 English words together. Eduardo Hurtado eats most of downtown Newark in urban renewal project.

2000- Tab Ramos gets injured. Lothar Matthaus takes time out from his 17-year-old girlfriend to play a game or two as the team's savior. League manipulates rules to get better players to team. The result is that they actually win a few games and do not fire their coach.

2001- Tab Ramos gets injured. Team plays pretty well, but loses to LA. Coach still has a job.

2002- Tab Ramos announces retirement. At the announcement he gets injured while shaking hands, falls to the ground clutching knee, foot, and chest. No one notices he is missing

The only thing he's complaining about is how the mighty mighty Fire managed to go down faster than a girl on prom night against the punchless Revs.

C'mon, do you really want the Metros out of the playoffs so bad that you're willing to tank one to those guys?

then again. you can't understand what he's saying anyways so by all means. continue to admit your failures.

When one of you has a mentally handicapped relative, you'll learn a little more respect for those who can't help the way they were born.

Kind of like Sweeper, really.

Sweeper, I figured you'd be on the same boat as me for this stance, seeing as for months everyone commented on your self picture avatar with the same amount of smack as our bone-knawing lady.

Rather sad that you need to use a blatant non-fact (that the former guy in my avatar was me) to try to stand on one leg (whereas I have been told that I have three legs) Oh you cunning linguist you......
