This morning I'm thinking about how deep "les Bleus" are and it occurred to me that this may summer may be the last go around for a few key players. We know for instance that Dessailly will not be around for the next World Cup and in most likely the same can be said of Thuram, Barthez and a few others. So having said that who do you think are the players of the Future for "Les Bleus"? I know a few whom seem obvious at the moment include:
Phillipe Mexes (DF),
Djibril Cisse (Attack)
Sydney Govou (Attack)
Mikael (sp?) Sylvestre (DF)

I think Bernard Mendy (DF/MF) will figure into the attack. Funny thing is that Henry and Trezeguet will be in their prime by the next World Cup.

Mon Dieu, une chevre? Drole
J'ai oublié Willy Sagnol et me rappelle que Thuram peut être allé d'ici là aussi bien que Lizarazu. Qu'est vers le haut avec Evra ?

My God, a goat? Funny (LOL)
I forget about Willy Sagnol but remember that Thuram and Lizarazu may be gone by the next World Cup. What's going on with Evra?

Jerome Rothen should be in that lineup as well.

be serious one minute! why Mendy?

there is so many young player already used, that have success in U21 team or european campain.
and what about others that have experience with French A team?

You have to look in list of player that played Euro 2004 qualifaying campaign.
Some will hang up boots at the end of euro2004.
Some will be out of form and not be selected.
Some new players will be called, youngs or inform player. But about 80% of the team will not be changed, even if it depends of Euro2004 results.

GK:
Well i dont really know for Barthez. I dont think he want hang up. But Coupet, Landreau with their internationnal experiences are best solutions.

Def:
Who will hang up? Desailly, Lizarazu.
Lizararzu still at the top, his physical condition is perfect.
But for sure, Thuram will be here, plus Silvestre, Sagnol, Gallas, Mexes, Boumsong
New? Evra and Squilachi are the best solutions.

Mid:
It will be no changes. Nothing says Zidane will stop. I think he will go on.
Then Vieira, Makelele, Pires, Dacourt are too precious.
You have to had Pedretti or Cheyrou for the young. And not forget Rothen.
Why not a newcomer as Lionel Mathis?

Forward:
How can you imagine any changes here?
Henry and Trezeguet are not replacable.
Had Cissé, Saha, Anelka (which has made public apologies to Santini this Monday), Giuly, Lyindula, Govou, Kapo, Wiltord, Marlet.
A little new? yes, some talk more and more about Pierre-Alain Frau.

Once again, if France doesnt pass first round, it will have more changes.
But i think this team can have more sucess this summer....
