A week left until this qualifier decider. I've got the ticket, judging by the line I stood in today it will be sold out in a couple of days.
Just opening the thread, all the news, lineups will be discussed during the week. Swedes, join in. ;)

I am from sweden, should be a great match! I just hope that the croatian fans will behave against our players, I hope it wont be ugly :(

Sweden has commented that we wont play for a draw so it should be an entertaining game :D

    Good luck to croatia.

Come on, we're not savages. And Maskimir stadium seats are pretty distanced from the pitch, so it wouldn't be easy anyway. :D
Zlatan could get some messages only him among Swedes will understand, though.

It should be a great match, but I'm pretty convinced it will be a draw (not
0-0). We have to wait and see.

I am not so sure about a draw. Croatia needs to win the game in order to win the group. If we tie, we have iceland at home last game, and without their only good player gudjohnsen gone. We just shouldn't lose that game.

so basicly this will be a very offensive game :D

omg Zlatan is my favorite player and idol, I really love him because he does things nobody else in sweden can do :D

oh he is. In a recent interview he was very annoyed when a croatian newspaper asked him if he felt swedish. Of course he said, I am born and raised there. I am swedish he said, but my family(bosnia and croatian) is important to me.

zlatan don't like those questions, and he has been asked that several times now when the match vs croatia is close. It's just the way it is I guess.

Zlatan is injured player after Juventus-Inter.
Tonight have a hard contact with Marco Materazzi.
Sweden against Croatia without Ibrahimovic is probably.
I'm sorry for sweden fans, but i like Croatia for a great Zorro Boban!!!

    Sorry for my english.....

Perhaps I am wrong, but Frenil answer "he is not, his parents are though" has to be linked to Zagorje_do_Meksika sentence " because he is from this part of Europe", not to your msg if he is proud to be Swedish or not...

zlatan is injured and a worthless old regional player will substitute him. Stick a fork in us, Croatia will win easily :(

sweden will suck now. Zlatan is our only attack.

Well, he's definetly the best you've got, but this doesn't change much... I was afraid of Zlatan as hell, but chances are still 50-50. Although, I must add I'm still not so sure he won't play.

This fixture is interesting because Sweden haven't lost an away qualifier in eight years, while we have NEVER lost a qualifier at home.

yes it's probably going to be a draw :)

As for zlatan, I don't think Juventus wont let him play, they have too much power and have already told sweden they wont let him play unless he is 100%

The stadium's sold out. It seems Swedes have a lot of injury problems, that's a good thing to hear, but it will still be a real fight for three points.

dear god, how many wq qualification games has Zlatan actually played? A little overrated imo we've done well without him, sometimes even better without him..
Nothing against him but Mellberg is more important to us right now and to think we will lose big because of zlatan is pure madness.

    What are you smoking???

We (Sweden) have the most offensively capable team in our recent memory. Just look at our bench options: Rosenberg, Elmander, Allback, Jonsson. And that's just the forwards.

Zlatan playing or not is pretty irrelevent to the outcome, I think. If he's not 100%, he should not play - we'll probably win anyway.
