Management has taken note of the constant bitching about the U21s in this thread and pulled out the stops to get the lads playing proper United football and ensure that the quality fanboys have access too, 3 or 4 times a week is as high as possible.

Januzaj is so above this level.

Conceded from a set piece, 1-0 down. Only bright spot is Januzaj as mentioned. Daelhi hasn't showed up yet. Where is Pereira?

They are a typical English team, big and organized.

Beautiful equalizer by James Weir, set up by Januzaj with a back heel.

2-1 Ioannou from a corner. Best three players on the pitch are Januzaj, Pearson, and Ioannou.

And they've equalized. Poor defending. The positioning for the initial through ball was horrendous and then the defender who attempted the lowest overhead kick of all time should have just jumped and headed it. Bad decision, but someone could have given him a shout too.

And we're up again. Wicked swerve on a low drive from outside the box by Donald Love?

Pearson has good technique would really stand out in his English peers if he makes it.

That ball from Pearson!!! and then the touch by Love!!!! That was sexy. Love watching the kids play. Most of our first wingers and midfielders would have been proud of that take and the pass before it.

Januzaj's talent is more obvious, but for me he just seems to be technically better than everyone at this level and most at the next.

Daelhi for me, has more imagination and unpredictability and to me, a hint more of upside to his game. But I think he wont make it at United unless we change how we play significantly. Probably wont make it anywhere. His manager will have to have patience with him and put up with some inconsistencies.

Daelhi needs to play in the hole with a more free role, he is too restricted on the left and his left foot ain't that good. I prefer to put Januzaj on the left and Daelhi in the middle.

I doubt any of the youths will make it here, I hope I am wrong. The difference between a name like Lucas making it and someone like Daelhi making it is different, because Lucas as a 17 year old or a 16 year old can break in the first team of Sao Paulo let's say or Internacional, but you won't see a 17 year old breaking into a top team like United. I think that aspect plays against the youths in the big clubs, but a team like Barca has taken advantage of that.
