Warren Joyce confirmed: “Robbie [Brady] and Josh [King] will definitely go out on loan again but at this time of year they have the chance to catch the manager’s eye. They will feel they have a chance to go on the first-team tour and that leaves for South Africa and the Far East on July 17.

“They will get games and they will hope to show the manager how close they are to the first team.

“Josh and Robbie will start back at the club next week but everyone will be at a different stage when they get back to the club in terms of their preparation. It’s a case of getting everyone together and letting them get the first few weeks under their belts.

“You can’t really talk about plans at this stage as they can easily get turned on their head.”

“I’d certainly expect the link to remain with Hull City and United. I’d have thought anything was possible regarding Robbie and Josh, and there are certainly other players ready for the Championship.

“I thought Robbie began the season well for City but didn’t do too well after Christmas. As regards Josh, City fans didn’t see the best of him, although I think he’ll be back to his best next season.

“I know what he’s like when he’s at it but he wasn’t running fit when he was at City and that was because of his experience at Borussia Monchengladbach and before that at Preston where he got injured.”

Another United pair being monitored at the KC are Ryan Tunnicliffe and Michael Keane, who also look set for greater things next season.

Joyce added: “There’s bound to be interest from the Championship as they both did well last year.

“The reserves won everything and Keane won player of the year. For sure he will go out on loan but Tunnicliffe may well be around the first team."

A delighted Mark Hughes told www.qpr.co.uk: "It's a great opportunity for us to loan a good, young player, who has decent experience of playing for a top Club like Manchester United.

"He's played a lot of senior games for United, so it shows the quality he's got.
"I know they think very highly of him and we believe he has all the attributes to be a success here next season."

Hughes believes da Silva's versatility will give him far greater defensive options next season, adding: "First and foremost, he's a good defender. He's got great enthusiasm as well, and just like his brother (fellow United team-mate, Rafael), he's a top professional.

"We can give him the games he's craving at this stage of his career, so it benefits everybody.
"He's very versatile - he can play left or right-back and he's also been utilised in midfield by Sir Alex (Ferguson) in the past, so we know what we're getting, and that's a very good player."

Yeah, I believe so, and it looks that way regarding the embargo.

Didn't catch it on MUTV myself. Turned on the Euro u19s at the tail end of the France game. Hadn't realised they were playing today so went to UEFA's site to see what else I'd missed. Whilst there I saw that he'd scored, and with him on my mind I twitter searched for him to see if anyone was talking about that or if the Juve move was confirmed yet. Found a link to that story as well as other people saying it had just been on MUTV.
