Copa SP is currently underway and the Taça BH will be later this year.

The group stages of the Copa SP is starting to wrap up. Gremio is currently losing 2-0.

I haven't caught anything at all besides Santos beating Capital 2-0. Has anyone seen or heard about any players worth watching in the knockout rounds?

Hopefully the games will improve now the group stage is over. Was difficult to tell which were good players or if they were just playing poor opposition. Sao Paulo and Kashiwa of Japan looked decent though, so will be good to see them play more difficult teams. They drew 1-1 when they played each other and Boschilia scored a good free kick.

Usually I follow this religiously.. but after doing that for a couple of years.. it becomes a burden.

Any revelations so far in this tourney aside the U-17 NT kids.

Big teams aren't the favs in these comps majority of the time unless its Corinthians or Sao Paulo or something.

Botinha, Ole, Redbull, etc have really made a run in regards to youth teams.

Audax has been pretty good this tournament too. I wouldn't be surprised if they win it.

Flamengo x Corinthians in the Copinha today. Unfortunately, I'm not feeling that confident. This team simply hasn't impressed me, but at least they have advanced further than last year's squad.

Doing well, but I still find myself not liking the team very much. Too one dimensional.

Well that's the third title. Congrats to the team. Results-wise they were better than last year's group, but I think the guys from 2013 were better prepared to make the step up to the professionals. I wasn't a fan of Pepinho's tactics.

Lucas Otavio (volante) was the best of the bunch that I saw. Deserved player of the tournament. Another Santos player in Serginho (meia) really played well once he got going. Daniel Guedes (lateral) as well. Still kinda iffy over Diego Cardoso (atacante). His off the ball movement is good, but give him the ball outside of the box and he's treats decision-making like a darts game.

Also liked Dodo (meia) and Wilson (goleiro) of Atletico-MG.

    NotreDameFlamengo repped this.
