I'll be honest. A lot of the time, I'm too afraid to use the US against the tougher countries. But I have beaten England with the US over Xbox Live before. England doesn't seem to dominate in the game like they should. It's teams like Spain, Portugal, and Brazil I'm afraid to play against with the US. I can handle other countries though. Mexico is a piece of cake to beat with the US. haha

(Bump) I was bored today, so I played out the England and Slovenia games on highest AI difficulty. (I can't play Algeria until I make them a roster because FIFA does not have them in the game). While playing, I tried to manage my players like BB. By coin flip, I determined that Dempsey is completely healthy, Davies, Onyewu, Feilhaber and Holden make the 23 but none are starters (I pretended that Davies and Onyewu had slow recoveries and have not fully regained fitness). Jones is injured still. England vs. United States Howard; Spector, Boca, DeMerit, Dolo; Donovan, Bradley, Clark, Dempsey; Altidore, Ching. -Rooney outjumps DeMerit for a header in the 7th. Howard has no chance. 1-0 England. -Donovan nails the post from 25 yards. -Ching alone against Green nails the post. BS is furious. -2nd half. Donovan passes to Ching who lets it pass. It gets to a wide open Clark who shoots but Green makes a stunning save. -Gerrard gets a yellow for a vicious takedown of Donovan. LD is subbed out due to an ankle injury for DMB and he will miss the Slovenia match. -Torres comes in for Clark. -Lampard calmly slots a shot home in the 82nd. 2-0 England. -Heskey misses 4-5 chances throughout the game mostly due to the influence of Howard, who makes several stunning saves. -Bigsoccer questions why Bradley didn't utilize Holden, Feilhaber, Davies or Adu (who had snuck on the 23 at the last minute). Slovenia vs. United States Howard; Spector, Boca, DeMerit, Dolo; Beasley, Bradley, Edu, Dempsey; Altidore, Ching. -Bradley gives away an idiotic FK from a yard outside the box and injures Koren, but thankfully only gets a yellow. Koren stays on the field but misses the goal on the FK. -Only 1 shot on goal for either side in the 1st half, but Handanovic catches DMB's shot from 20. Cherundolo had also gotten a yellow for a late challenge. -2nd half. Jozy is through on goal, but he doesn't get a shot off. -Jozy to the right of goal gets it to Ching at the penalty spot, who blasts it into the net. 1-0 US after 54 minutes. -DMB races down the left and his low cross finds Ching, and he strikes it into the net. 2-0 U.S. in the 59th. Slovenia's defense has disappeared! -Koren nails the crossbar with a looping header but it is cleared by Spector. -A cleared U.S. corner is won back by Dolo, he passes to DMB in the box who turns and slots it past Handanovic. 3-0 U.S after 74. -Casey, Clark and Torres are subbed in for Altidore, Bradley and Beasley. -A classic American counter sees Dempsey with the ball 2-on-1 in the box, he chips to Ching who heads home the first hat trick in World Cup history for the United States. 4-0 U.S. in the 84th. -Ching silences Bigsoccer, although BS still questions the failure of BB to use Holden, Feilhaber, Davies or Adu. -Final: Slovenia 0-4 United States. Actually, Bert Patenaude scored the first hat trick in World Cup history for the US in 1930 against Paraguay. That's awesome you took the time to do that, though. Sounds like it might be pretty accurate.
