Here's an all time Bayern good looking XI

    I'll be going with a 4-3-3

    -----------------------------------------Pfaff-------------------------------------
    ---Sagnol -------------DvB-------------Thon--------Lahm(cute,boyish looks)---
    -----------------------------------Ballack------------------------------------------------
    -----Deisler-------------------------------------------Owen Hargreaves--------
    ----------Gomez--------------Klose---------------Klinsmann-----------------

And an all time Bayern ugly XI

    -----------------------------------Kahn------------------------------------------
    Brehme--------Schwarzenbeck-----Augenthaler------Ziege (2002 haircut)------
    ----Ze Roberto------------Jeremies-------Breitner-------Ribery---
    ----------------------Gerd Mueller--------Makaay----------------

@ 3 stars: I think Hargreaves is a must have in any all time injured 11 list :p

I think Landon Donovan goes in either of those teams depending on which forum you're in.

Nope. No place for him either of the squads. He doesn't cut into the starting XI even here.:p

Sorry to disappoint you, he doesn't. :p

This is what i had in mind:

    Deisler

Olaf Thon Have you seen a better mullet?? :D

    Sagnol

Here's an attempt at the best Bavarian XI (only those born/raised in Bavaria).

    -------------------------------------------------------Maier-------------------------------------
    Markus Babbel---------Schwarzenbeck-----Beckenbauer-------Lahm-------
    ------------------------------------Hamann---------Loddar---------------------------------
    Deisler------------------------------------------------------------------Schweinsteiger-----------
    ------------------------Gerd Mueller----Thomas Mueller------------------------------

Can't think of any LM or strikers apart from Gerd Mueller who were Bayern born. Maybe Zickler?

same story at any other bundesliga team :p

breitner - kolbermoor - same as schweinsteiger
    bernd duernberger - kirschanschoering

Interesting to know that if you have any knee problems (and you are a dutch player), you can check out dr. hans-josef kapellmann...:)

Zickler was born in EAST GERMANY. Many forget that he was not a Bayern youth player. He came when he was quite young from Dresden.

Also I'm pretty sure Deisler is not from Bavaria.

Apologies. I had a misconception about Deisler and Zickler being Bavarian and products of Bayern youth. Should have verified before posting.

Yes and Yes. Its my list :)

This is an all-time Bayern lineup featuring only 'true' Bavarians (no Franconians like Matthäus or Swabians like Gerd Müller or Uli Hoeness):

    -------------8-Franz ROTH---------------------------7-Bastian SCHWEINSTEIGER
    ---------------------------------5-Franz BECKENBAUER

    -3-Hans PFLÜGLER--4-Georg SCHWARZENBECK--6-Klaus AUGENTHALER--2-Philipp LAHM

    --------------------------------------1-Sepp MAIER

Bench: Dieter Brenninger, Rainer Ohlhauser, Bernd Dürnberger, Dietmar Hamann, Christian Nerlinger, Manfred Bender, Manfred Schwabl, Hans Dorfner.

Salihamidzic is more versatile than Robben, but as an attacking player he is not nearly as effective.

Salihamidzic has been the better Bayern player. no point comparing their impact for the club since one of them has only had one season under his belt.
