I really think people fail to realize how old Goodson is. He's already 28, and will be 32 by the next World Cup. He's just as old as Gooch is, and frankly I can't see him slotting in come 2014. I think guys like Chad Marshall and Geoff Cameron are far more likely to be included ahead of Goodson.

Any good college CBs out there that may make the 2014 team?

West Ham reserve player Lletget, will supplant Bradley as starter in the midfield? Do you know something about him that I haven't heard?

The thought of Convey and Wynne as the fullbacks with Edu on the wing might keep me up all night.

That said. Bobby Convey as a LB. Hmm. I'm slightly intrigued.

What about this kid Charles Ranken, he plays on the U-20 team and is only 17. He plays in the mid-field and is currently with the Whitecaps but has been scouted by Arsenal.

he and his fellow wunderkid teammate joseph gyau were both already bought by hoffenheim. i think they are only temporarily back at VWFC youth academy until they are old enough/ready to go over to germany.

I had some errors in my post, I thought he was 17, but it looks from the article he is only 16. I played soccer with Renken's older brother in high school, never got to play with Charles Renken as he wisely choose to play with the national team. The future does look bright for these two players, especially Renken, hopefully we will see them soon in a cap for the US MNT.

How can you possibly think Wynne was off the radar? He had his chances, he just wasn't good enough.

Of all the criticisms of Bradley, the idea that he didn't give enough guys chances is ludicrous. It is not backed up by the numbers. He played lots of guys.
