^exactly why they signed him obviously, Bajan. He is an investment. They've put 2.5 years into him, and he's ready to be challenged at the first team level. The team has plenty of forwards so it isn't a "needs-based" signing.

Can't see anywhere I wrote they "needed" him ...

Blas Perez has earned himself a one match suspension, With FCD playing RSL tommorow it will be interesting to see if Johnny Top can get his debut

How many of them project to be there in 2-3 years? 2, maybe 3??? Thats all that matters in this scenario....and Hell if he is good enough then you can make room for him.....can never have to many assets.

Luis Gil gets another start tonight while fellow U20 Jonathan Top makes the bench for FC Dallas. I think Jonathan Top might be making his debut tonight since he is the only forward that FCD can sub in.

kids not even 19 yet. Gil has impressed me. Just imagine how good he would have been if he had taken European deal bc he would have trained more and played more. he could have been another David Alaba, teenager breaking into first team of big club.

We've had plenty of kids go over to Europe and turn into nothing.

Doubt it....Probably Jackson and 2 more Dmids (only 5 defenders and 2 mids starting:rolleyes:).....lucky that means Ulloa might get a chance:p.

Hydman for a guy that came from college soccer seems to constantly have tons of highly touted youngsters that he never gives a chance to. I mean it was only like 3-4 years ago he had like 6 GA players and 1 a game would be lucky to make the bench.....

I can't watch the game because CW is being dumb and it (the channel) doesn't work

EDIT: It works now, apparently complaining on BS works.

Shea got turned inside the box defending saborio. Seitz saved the day though.

Top probably should have gotten a yellow on a tackle from behind but he doesn't.

Are you serious? This is the type of post people who don't watch games use to irrationally complain about players. Shea tracked back the entire field and put on the necessary pressure to allow the GK time to come out and stop Saborio. It was the best defensive play of the game...and you're posting like Shea is tO blame?

Yes i am serious he got juked by saborio inside the box, and thanks to saborio's bad touch and seitz's footwork he stopped what should have been a goal. Those are the facts, i just stated them.
