You're forgetting that he's also been denying US call ups too, so you don't know for sure what country he will play for. I support his decision to stay neutralised at international level for now, and focus on club level.

His priority now is Dortmund, and that's how it should be! ES has much more important things to focus on, like finding a permanent DT as you said!

I know just saying to people don't get your hopes up. Now question is since Tuco is pretty much our interim why haven't they named him yet.

Well to no ones surprise his dad has already confirmed that he has denied the call up. I will say he lets out weird signals, I feel he should just be straight and say no he won't represent El Salvador he will stick with the US. Don't want people to still foolishly hang on to scraps of him maybe coming over.

He will most likely play for the U.S. since he grew up playing with the U.S. youth teams. So it wouldn't bother me if he chooses the U.S. over El Salvador. Now if he were to say he wants to play for the U.S. only and then changes his mind last minute saying he wants to play for El Salvador since the U.S. won't call him up then that's a whole other story. Right now he should focus with Dortmund since the club team will basically be important for his career and a good way to find a 1st team even if it's not Dortmund.
