Nathan Brown is a life-long Black Cats fan and decided to express his love for the club in a note to the Black Cats star.

The 17-year-old has Williams Syndrome and has taken to writing letters as a form of therapy and posted his well wishes to American international Altidore.

In response, [Altidore] sent Nathan, who attends home and away matches with his dad Andrew Brown, a signed picture.

Maybe Jozy could have dedicated his goal to him.

He actually promised 2, but the second glanced off a defender and was later ruled an own goal, so the kid returned the birthday card signed by everyone at Sunderland but now Jozy has to clear a ball off the line with his head next game.
