What year was Kelly Smith born? Isn't she too old for a 16-20 tournament?

    Kelly turned 24 last October.

Maybe they allow some "over-age" players?

that's highly possible. the nordic cup (U-20 tourney) allows for 2 (i think the number is 2) overage players, but there's a "limit" to how much older they can be etc. not sure about this tourney.

As this is normally a men's football tournament I guess those are only the rules for the men's teams taking part in this tournament.
There are at least 5 or 6 players , as I know, who are older than 20. So they probably included a normal friendly between Italy and England in the tournament.

Rachel Yankey is over 20 for sure because she played for the Dynamites de Laval in the W-League three seasons ago.

England to Play World Champions on Saturday May 17th.

England have not played the USA in 12 years, their last game coming in 1991. It will be the first time the two sides have met since The Football Association took over the running of the England women's side in 1993.

The city and venue for the game is yet to be confirmed, but the match is likely to be televised live in the USA.
