well just glad it didnt happen. Think the club is moving in the right direction with recent signings and giving youth a chance.
+1 I think we will see further additions to this thread which we may not be missing if AVB can be given time to build his squad. For all of his droning in the media about that he was not given a fair chance- I saw nothing but a half streaky player in Scott Sinclair who looked as if have been a decent bit part player for us at best.

Damn, he must been keeping up his fitness somewhat if teams are still asking for his services. Dude must not be going to the pubs as much
most of the former players remain quite positive about the club but sadly two of the current pundits who are former players- Townsend and Burley- really do seem to have an axe to grind I think Burley has a lot of bitterness about being moved on as the club was progressing and becoming more successful

Was it mentioned that formerblue Morten Nielsen has moved back to his old club FCM? His growth has really stalled & his dad is just moving him from one club to another. Sad turn of events really

Joe Cole hit a hattrick in the french league cup last week, then hit one more in Lille's last league game. just thought some people might be interested in that.
yea, wasn't trying to start a get him back campaign. just thought people would like to hear he is getting his game back on track and finding some form.
Considering our current squad, we could certainly use Joe Cole and Miro Stoch right now. (so not to start a crazy debate, it was clearly the right move to let both players go when we did)
One of the old Westerlo lads... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/16665369.stm Former Chelsea defender Jeffrey Ntuka has been stabbed to death in South Africa. The stabbing occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning in a local nightclub in the township of Kroonstad in the Free State province. He was on the books at Stamford Bridge as a youngster before returning to South Africa to play for Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United. wow, bloody hell.
