    :D

his agent is completely whoring him out

really wished he would have listed to the advise of some of his teammates at the club about his agent but allegedly his agent has the blessing of Fabio's family which appears to be a big factor in this

Watching the U.S. Open Tennis tournament and just seen Avram Grant in Kuznetsova's box. Very odd.

EDIT: Sorry he's actually in Wozniacki's box.

Can't compare the two. Bridge will be my hero for his theatrics on April 6th, 2004. Bogarde??? I have nothing for him.

Frank Nouble joins Gillingham on loan. His sixth club in two years.

I thought it would be a mistake when we let him go, but so far it does not look like we have missed out on anything great.

Seems to be something of a theme this lack of regret. Would have thought we'd have hit pay dirt a little more often than we do :(

I think we have done a very good job of identifying and acquiring the talent mate and a pretty good job of developing the talent through the Youth ranks to the Reserve level.

Where we have really struggled imo is developing the players from the Youth into the Reserve age group (17-20). It was not until last season where we finally appeared to have a purpose with our loans (which we thankfully followed up again with this window) as many of the previous loans were curious and quite frankly- wasteful.

We have allowed far too many players to stagnate and while Nouble moved on as he saw little chance for a regular place at the club, we have not seen the results which I have expected to date.

Bit of a bottom line man myself and that means first team squaders, which we have lacked. As for talent, sure, we have brought in a lot, but we seem to spend quite a bit bringing it in too. Whilst I see some of the progress, I remain critical and hope Josh can be the start of a new wave.

pretty good read in the Y&R thread about this

the focus appears to be the upcoming group containing Chalobah, Ruben Loftus Cheek, et al

    Re: Borini @ AS Roma

Did anyone checkout Borini's performance for Roma today?? I heard he got the start vs. Inter. I was at work & didn't get to see the match.

Didn't see it, but I saw a match thread (on a different site) where Roma fans were complaining about Borini and wanting Bojan to come on.

    Re: Borini @ AS Roma

Thanks for the reply. Funny I got an answer from a Roma/CFC fan. He said that Borini had a lot to offer, but he liked Borini when he was @ CFC. I got another answer from a neutral Serie A fan & said that Borini had potential, but couldn't finish. Funny, cause when he was in England (ok reserves & CC footie) he did find the net. I guess we will see if he was another chip that we let get away.

Very classy guy. I still blame the players more than him. But he did lack ideas during the game. I am sure he will be back managing clubs very soon.

think so, i remember there were papers reporting this, and i remember him saying himself that he liked pirlo to the press. And I pointed that out, and i think someone, dont remember who now, was in complete denial.
Pirlo may be doing well at Juve, at least thats what i heard, not sure if its true. But I think that would have been a very, very, very bad move if we had signed him.

    completely agree

I also dont see how signing a then 30-31 year old was going to help move this team forward at the time.

glad you got some vindication for your stance btw
