http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/stoke-transfer-news-michael-mancienne-2971434 Mancienne on possible loan move to Stoke
can he swat balls out of the air with his hands like shawcross? seriously, did anyone see that this past weekend?
at least he did not argue the call good call by the ref imo Shawcross is one of the players who is uses his arms a little too much- similar to what we saw from JT for a while
Shame that that has completely overshadowed his good performance lol…had no idea what that alleged gesture was until the complaints started flooding in.
What an idiot. Paris Saint-Germain’s Chelsea old-boy Alex under fire for anti-gay quotes on French TV
Is it just me, but is anyone else irritated that the headlines read with Chelsea in them? As if they're still getting a shot at us in there.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ugh-v-Everton-Fallen-stars-dare-to-dream.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...helsea-asks-I-going-past-Ramires-Lampard.html couple of articles about former youngsters with it being FA Cup weekend. Pretty standard for the media to have a pop at us in these article. as usual the Fail not doing their homework- Billy Clifford has not been on loan with Yeovil for months now and they also did not give the full story on several of the moves for the FAYC winning side
Great to see Bridgecutt get a chance at Sunlin. Nice to see a few academy products get it right and be in the Prem.
Chelsea Youth @chelseayouth 3h Clifford and Hasselbaink aren't the only #CFC connections at Antwerp; their website lists Yves Makalambay amongst the playing squad.
Phil Schoen is reporting that Drogba is heading to Seattle after the Turkish/Euro season. Joining them for Seattle's run in.
Interesting read on Kakuta… http://plainsofalmeria.co.uk/2014/01/29/the-curious-case-of-gael-kakuta/ I was a big fan of his back when he got a couple games under Carlo…the article highlights the, I guess you'd call it "weirdness" of the fact that some of these kids are deemed ready for Chelsea FC first team action then rather suddenly fade into nothingness. More recently you take a kid like Bertrand who put in his time with us then becomes victim to our loan policy. quick edit…of course none of what I'm saying is to imply that any of these kids would no doubt be a success, just more so pointing out our rather strange policy when it comes to youth prospects.
