Europa League 2nd qualifying round:
Chornomorets Odesa face the winner of

Teuta Durrës (ALB) - Dacia Chişinău (MLD)

 

If Chudo advance they will be seeded in Round 3.
And for that matter so will MetaDon.

 

Dynamo Kyiv and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk will be seeded in the 4th round (Play-off Round).

 

Last year Dnipro was the last seeded team in the playoff round. And ended up the last Pot 3 seeded team in the group phase.

A successful campaign has brought them a higher coefficient values which has them a chance to consolidate their seeded position and once again the possile Pot 3 seeding in the group phase.

 

Dnipro is ranked in 83rd place (20.626) 5 places above where they finished last season.

The projected cutoff for Pot 2 and Pot 3 if all the seeded teams advance fromthe previous rounds is a coefficient value of 27.625 (FC Salzburg (AUT)) ranked #75.

 

As usual with unseeded teams it really depends on the draw for the playoff round...

Draw is August 9th.

 

Unfortunately, Metalist if they get past PAOK they will be unseeded in the 4th qualifying round and the teams that are seeded are really going be tough.

Hence, if they lose to PAOK they will end up in the 4th qualifying round of the EL.
If they win against PAOK and lose in the 4th qualifying round they will go straight into the group stage of the EL and will be probably a pot 1 seeded team.

The secret is always the more coefficient points that you have the easier the competition is that you should face.
