Damn I didn't know Metalist v. Shakhtar was this weekend too! Great for the league. Would be awesome if Dnipro and Metalist win on top of that.

Anyone watch Velikiy Futbol? Denisov is such an idiot for getting rid of Futbolniy Weekend. That was a great show, this current crap they already have similar talk shows on other channels anyway. They thought cause of the Euro2012 high rating coverage to make it permanent. Bad move. Blokhin's daughter is super hot but a total airhead ditz. Denisov looks miserable on air, doesn't run smoothly and pretty awkward actually

That's the problem with prognostication business - how do you prepare for 6-2?

    You can't...
Thats why books usually offer something like 100/1 or better and if you want throw the odd Euro or buck out in the pond then you might strike it.
But if we get anudder 6-2 scoreline this season I'll be surprised.
One in 240 games is about right.

BTW the last 6-2 score line in the PL was in the 1998-99 season.

Round 8 [Dec 3] postponed game
    Dynamo K 6-2 Metalurh Z

Weekend was pretty good when it ran and this new show they have is bloody awful. Irisha is hot plus she speaks English really well with that slight accent which makes her even more attractive to me, but she is really dumb. Sort of one of those girls you just wanna have a night with and get on with your life. Other than that the show really sucks.
I usually only watch Pro Futbol, but only when Vitya Leonenko is there as a guest cause he can sometimes pull out some funny shit out of his hat. Also Nagornyak is sometimes decent to listen to.
I really liked this other show they used to have after games on I think ICTV with Mykola Vasylkov, because it was actually entertaining.
Don't get me wrong these shows still are very low quality in terms of actually evaluating the game and giving some football knowledge. Tsyganyk is dumb as shit.
Actually the only decent program with some good football insight was on Futbol channel I think two years ago when they ran it after games in the Champions League. But this was when Victor Vatsko was the host of it (now they prob have some dumbass running it) He is probably the best commentator in Ukraine imo. But now like a couple of days ago he got a job in Karpaty's structure so he isn't gonna be commentating anymore unfortunately.

We are a very troubled club at the moment. Not much more to say here. In a way that's good, as hopefully it's a catalyst for some positive long term change. We're not curently on an upward trend despite a great transfer season in the summer.

I think we are on an upward trend. Blokhin has gotten this team to run forth, something they have forgotten during the previous administration.

If think they would run forward even if Woody Woodpecker was appointed the head coach, as they are basically "interviewing" for their positions. Going forward is glamorous, it would impress me more if they were running back to defend, as that's the real dirty work. We're not going to see what Blokhin really has in mind until after New Years, methinks...

While it is true that the real results of Blokhin's work would only be fully apparent after the new years, I already see that they are running back to defend as well. What annoys me is that Blokhin has to scream at them to do that. This should have been second nature.

    able to overcome Metalist.

Fedya is still on target with Shakhtar - Illichivets, though... (halftime Illichivets 1-0)

Didn't take long for Dnipro to skrew up.

The thing is that instead of 3-2 loss to Zorya this may be 3-0 Technical loss due to have insufficient YKPAIHIAH players on the pitch...

    Good pick...

I think this is the worse I've seen DK since independence and they have to pick themselves up and play ECL pretty quick smart.

Good job by Metalist, putting these "national dynamo talents" in the dumpster where they belong. Mykhalyk as usual had his traditional dumpster performance today. Should of been sent off at least 3 times in the whole game. Cristaldo got a yellow for simulation, where Mykhalyk clearly fouled him in the box. Didn't even get a yellow for that one foul in midfield where he basically took out a player in a clear counter attack. Mykhalyk was basically Marlos' bitch the whole game lol

Oh and btw there is no "blokhin wasn't there" excuse for this one. Markevych wasn't with the team either.
