True. But since they have nothing to play for at this point I can see Macini sticking to his guns.

he will already get a 5 game ban, and that is not including the sending off today.

He has been red carded once, then got the 3 match ban for a challenge against Spurs. If/when the FA reviews the challenge on Song and suspends him, thats 3 red cards which will mean a 5 match ban. It will be 6 when the sending off from today's match is included. His season is over and his career in the premiership is probably over too.

What was missed in the awe of that blatant offside fail is that Mata was off when Torres shot as well. Wigan shoulda won.

IMO that offsides was a bit closer than the Ivanovic one. And the Ashley Young one as well.

I just realized there are five more games today, then another game tomorrow, then more games Wednesday. I like this constant PL football. :)

Nice to see him score. Ricky and Stephen are always so harsh on him.

I was shocked he didn't go to ground when he was challenged on his run. Great, great run at goal. Cool finish.

not impossible. Honestly Spurs and Chelsea may just backslide out of it.

Everton could also have the FA Cup final and may rest up.

City may be difficult but they are playing like dookie. Its not impossible for the barcodes to get 4th.

boy things are really heating up. Funny thing is, we still don't have the top 4 locked in. I think if we beat Chelsea we can safely say we have a top 4?

Spurs lost to Norwich; Newcastle are tied with them now. We can start creating some daylight between us and these guys by winning at Wolves on wednesday.

We are in the driver's seat now. COYG!

LMAO at Spurs. Their season is going up in flames, kind of the way it started:

Kind of sad. I wanted Spuds to get 4th, and Chelski 5th.

Well, Spuds aren't going to get relegated any time soon. I just think Chelski missing the top four would be an enormous blow to a squad that's aging and desperately in need of replacements, and that might be enough to kill them off for good.

On the other hand, Spurs aren't going anywhere: they've got a fair amount of talent, but what they don't have is depth. Being in the Champions League would cause them substantial injury problems and fatigue issues, and this would help guarantee that St. Totteringham's Day come very early next year.

This might be in poor taste, but Arsenal Uber Alles.
