Call-ups for the Philippines friendly against Malaysia on 4/27: Charles Pettys (Global FC) Anton Del Rosario (Kaya FC) Nathaniel Burkey (Pachanga Diliman FC) Jose Porteria (Kaya FC) Kenshiro Daniels (Kaya FC) http://www.azkalsfootballteam.com/news.php?id=486
Philippines tied Malaysia 0-0 today. Starters: Doctora - James Reichelt - Rosario - Steubelt Sato - Lucena - Porteria - Rota - De Jong Deyto But as the end came closer, both sides played with a lower tempo and it almost seemed like they were fine with the draw. But drama ensued on the last minute of the game Del Rosario was penalized for using his hand inside the penalty box. Malaysia were granted a penalty and Safee Sali stepped up, knowing that he could actually seize victory for the Tigers. But there was further frustration as Safee Sali missed his attempt, much to the relief of the home crowd inside the stadium. From the match report, it looks like there weren't any Philippine substitutions.
Another roster for the Philippines: http://www.azkalsfootballteam.com/news.php?id=491 Anton Del Rosario (Kaya FC) Kenshiro Daniels (Kaya FC) Nathaniel Burkey (Pachanga Diliman FC) Jose Elmer Porteria (Kaya FC)

Bit of a discussion on US changing from a net importer of soccer talent to a net exporter. http://www.mlssoccer.com/worldcup/2...talent-us-starting-churn-out-american-exports Based on the U17 & U20 teams coming out of CONCACAF, I would say we have already passed the tipping point.
Kind of a bland take if you ask me, since it didn't mention (for instance) that Mexico could bring two Americans to Brazil this year. And I think he could have at least suggested that as much as we've been winning the dual-citizen battle lately, it seems inevitable that there will be another Rossi or Subotic, where we lose a guy we had a reasonable claim to AND who could have contributed in a big way, before long. But the point stands, and ... well, I'm certainly happy for Beitashour (and bummed for Dike).
... and also doesn't mention guys like Ibisevic, Wallace, and Najar (and Ramon Nunez in 2010), who to varying degrees qualify as US exports regardless of their citizenship status. I think that we passed that tipping point a long time ago. In the 12 years between Llamosa and Jermaine Jones, I don't believe that our senior team added any foreign-raised players at all.
A bit of a stretch but Stewart Holden? And there was that one South African born midfielder that played for the Fire at one point? John Torrington?
Stuart Holden was born in Scotland. John Thorrington only played 4 times for the US. Shame too -- he was one of our brightest prospects before injuries ravaged his career.

Hearing that former US U-17 international Junior Flores has declined call up to El Salvador.— Jeff Carlisle (@JeffreyCarlisle) May 16, 2014 El Salvador is starting to wonder if it's something they said.
Yura Movsisyan was raised in the US from the time he was 3 until after college. I don't know his citizenship status but he plays for the Armenian National Team.
Omar Jarun has been called up for the Palestinian team: http://www.nasl.com/article/uuid/93...am-for-2015-asian-cup-qualifiers#.U3tvXCjJ2o1 He has about 13 caps for the Palestinians. Some background: http://edition.cnn.com/2011/SPORT/football/07/01/palestine.american.omar.jarun/
