I feel like Theo is the strange player who's only valuable against good teams. When teams try to attack us, they create space for him to do his thing. But when teams bunker against us, he's damn near useless.

Theo came up huge against Chelsea (5-3) and Tottenham (5-2). I hardly remember him making any impact besides those two games.

It is not true. All the reports about it are based on the one source (transfermarkt.de) which is wrong.

player of the month for a team that is now in the Championship. So his competition wasn't good enough for the PL. Kinda makes it less impressive.

He's a player with extreme speed and he's used that attribute to beat defenders. The problem is as the quality of defenders improves, he's going to need a lot more tricks and skills. If he's going to make it at Arsenal he needs to take a big step up get past that 'one trick pony stage'. Good player undoubtedly, elite, don't think so.

With only 3 defenders, why would you want any of them to get forward? Shouldn't there be enough midfielders to fill that job?

FYI, we're now going to shut threads down after 1000 posts. So, time for a new transfer thread.
