Come on tj u can do this!
5' to go - let the countdown begin! I've been waiting my whole life practically, for this
d0o it Tijuas! d0o it!
i'm willing to bet a lot of so called Xolo fans will be switching jerseys once big teams like Chivas, Pumas, America, etc. come visit
We'll see. I'm willing to bet you're wrong.
How big is the stadium? 20k? It's gonna be a mess, especially trying to cross back.
Here's to a great many pachangas in TJ! Next stop, Adelita's!
I don't think so those folks have a lot of pride in their city.
I think many of the people who like the big 4 in Tijuana probably never thought they'd see Primera Liga in Tijuana.
I'd bet many will take up allegience with Club Tijuana - especially if the team can stay in the top league for awhile and not go down like Indios did.
Ahh que curado!!
now get ready for a visit from la resistencia albiazul
And it's over.
So that it? They do it?
Tijuana has never had a solid organization. im glad to see it happen.
believe me, i know a lot of people who support Xolos right now. but once their fav 1st division clubs come visit, they won't be supporting Xolos
I can't wait to games. And gamble.
Congrats to the Xolos! Great win today! Hopefully this is the start of a long term spell in the top flight.
Can't wait to see the apertura schedule ll be one of the many fan wearing a difrent jersey Go Chivas!i
Congratulations to the Xolos, and all of TJ.
Cheers to Tijuana fans.
Kudos to Joe Benny Corona for a hell of a game.
sure they'll will be - especially since many people in Tijuana are from other parts of Mexico. I fully expect there to be sizable groups rooting for the opposition at most of the games.
But lets assume hypothetically that 70% of the Xolos fanbase has a prior allegience to one of the Big 4 - at any given game that only affects a portion of those fans. They aren't playing all four of them at the same time.
This may be true for all the transplants who didn't grow up in TJ. But nonetheless is all a win or win for Xolos and the city Tijuana.
I will definitely be attending at least a couple games.
Also a good point. Many people I know have done that, rooted for the home team unless their old team comes by for a visit. But I doubt this will eat into Tijuana's fanbase much. They seem to have developed a very freverent fanbase that isn't going to just toss their loyalty away on a whim. After all TJ has looked good enough for promotion all season.
more money coming into TJ. although Hank is a piece of shit who will probably keep it all anyway.
the stadiums will be full guaranteed. people from all over - San Diego, Mexicali, Los Angeles, Rosarito/Ensenada, and TJ of course
Felicidades! ganan los Xolos. a la Primera División!
