I don't think so those folks have a lot of pride in their city.

I think many of the people who like the big 4 in Tijuana probably never thought they'd see Primera Liga in Tijuana.

I'd bet many will take up allegience with Club Tijuana - especially if the team can stay in the top league for awhile and not go down like Indios did.

sure they'll will be - especially since many people in Tijuana are from other parts of Mexico. I fully expect there to be sizable groups rooting for the opposition at most of the games.

But lets assume hypothetically that 70% of the Xolos fanbase has a prior allegience to one of the Big 4 - at any given game that only affects a portion of those fans. They aren't playing all four of them at the same time.

This may be true for all the transplants who didn't grow up in TJ. But nonetheless is all a win or win for Xolos and the city Tijuana.

I will definitely be attending at least a couple games.

Also a good point. Many people I know have done that, rooted for the home team unless their old team comes by for a visit. But I doubt this will eat into Tijuana's fanbase much. They seem to have developed a very freverent fanbase that isn't going to just toss their loyalty away on a whim. After all TJ has looked good enough for promotion all season.

    exactly

more money coming into TJ. although Hank is a piece of shit who will probably keep it all anyway.

the stadiums will be full guaranteed. people from all over - San Diego, Mexicali, Los Angeles, Rosarito/Ensenada, and TJ of course
