The school identifies as this... Seattle University, founded in 1891, is a Jesuit Catholic university located on 50 acres in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. More than 7,900 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs within eight schools and colleges. Well, it's too bad that they have to resort to lame marketing tactics like that. I guess admitting that you are in the Central District doesn't sound as cool to the college-aged. Seattle U is barely in "Capitol Hill" by any definition, as they are on the other side of Madison. Championship Field is pretty much in the heart of the CD, though, at the corner of Cherry and 14th. To me, Capitol Hill is centered around Volunteer Park and extends south from there. Pike/Pine is the extreme south, with Madison (east of 12th) and Union (west of 12th) as the border.
"Seattle" Premium outlets Lexus of "Seattle" I don't think using the name of a popular landmark as lame marketing. It works. People from the outside doesn't care much about tiny details. Is "Capitol Hill" suing Seattle U for trademark infringement?
