Your objection might have been fine if the original posting hadn't been:

"When will you admit? FOOTBALL PLAY WE BETTER ZAN YOU !"

In your transcribed version, where's your object? "Admit" (and its various translations in German) is a transitive verb in this example and thus requires an object. In the absence of an object in the first sentence, it's logical to infer that the second sentence is the object, making it a subordinate clause to the first (and incomplete) main clause if you add an implicit "that". Regardless, your construction would seem to me to be ungrammatical in both languages. Perhaps I'm missing the finer points of your language lesson?

Well, I haven't had a chance to see the club-footed red-white-blue herd trample across a German soccer field like a bunch of buffalos suffering from mad cow disease, that'll have to wait until a weekend day.

I'd imagine their lack of sophistication and finesse is as offensive as ever.

You would have been left with Vichy France, Italy and Skåne, so there would still have been exceptions.

As an aside. Who's doing Brandi's hair for the espn productions. She's had as many different looks as Cat Deeley on So You Think You Can Dance.

    Well, thank you debzy.

Your vid showed me again that 5 years French in school were for nothing. Its enough to have that "douze points" on Eurovision once a year. Therefore you French should slowly take some English lessons when its globalization time. Look here the (even more embarrassing) German entry:

    Vote for Germany !

Oh dear, now see what you've done, White/Blue, you've gone and poked the grammar wolverine with a stick. I'll chime in and say that if your team's ball skills are as bad as your recognition of the subordinate clause, then France has nothing to worry about.

I take that back. Actually France has more important things to worry about than Germany. Like those horizontal stripe jerseys. Good grief, won't you people ever get over Coco Chanel?

Where is the hate on Norway? They are just like us only, you know, successful? Do you have to be from the big brother neighbor nation to notice? The big brother that never managed to get over his prom king status in highschool and never made it through college or to get a decent job and ends up in a crummy apartment working his brother's fishery business, making just enough money to support a humble drinking problem. That kind of brother.

Yeah, Norway is that kind of country like Austria. You know its there but you dont know what for. And since Lena-Mania has taken on good old Deutschäland after her historical victory in Oslo, the facts that Norway constantly keep on loosing to us and kindly allowed us to use their fjords for some naval operations a few years ago - we have no prob with em. But hating them ? Well, frankly its kinda hard to distinguish between the both gibbering backwood tribes up there. Which one of em were again the breed of men with thea ideas of scrap furniture and lived socialism democracy ?

BUT Norway has indeed some merits I know. Two in number.

But the Austrians are PR geniuses, having made the whole world believe that Hitler was German and Mozart Austrian.

They very well might replay it in either the pregame or halftime talk of the Germany game. If you have access to espn3, you could always wait for the replay of the Can-Fra game and just fast forward to halftime ;)

Lots of shots of her smiling & even a couple of laughs/giggles.

Perhaps I hushed you b/c we're in the insults thread.

Anyway, throw kick a bone. A certain someone looked pretty darn bad in her time on the field today. Almost felt bad for her.

She looked bad because she is… oh never mind, I'm a big girl, and was brought up to respect my elders, so I'll give both kick and Biggie a break... and you too, for that matter...

nah, but if you're really worried about it, all you have to do is end every post with something rude about Bartusiak, because everyone will agree with you.

but what if I want to see Bartusiak play every game? Shall I take your tactic and relentlessly cheer for her?

Yes. Absolutely you should do that. Myself, I've been a fan of her starting in Germany's defense for a while now. She does the most amusing things, you know.
