De Rossi shouldn't be sold. Yeah i agree he's not having the best season but why should we chuck him out just because he's not playing that well in Zeman's system? If we let De Rossi go it will be a massive mistake and before we know it Totti will be retired and there will be No-One to take up the mantle that Totti leaves behind. Even if we get 25+million for De Rossi his replacements just wont be the same and he chances are they'll be gone after 2/3 years. If we got Verratti it would only be a matter of time before the one of the stripes lured him away, then we'd be left with nothing.
The stripes can't just lure him away if they pay him fair market wage. If you sign someone on a long term contract he can't just leave cause he wants to; He belongs to the club.
