Have you guys seen the ticket prices for Brasil 2014? Insane - from $9623 dollars all the way to $30,000 dollars through Grupo Mundomex. Worse still, there are no hotel accomodations, you stay in cabins aboard a cruise ship. You can also call directly and try to get a package that includes only the game tickets but damn that's expensive.
Nobody except Brazil has qualified so how can anyone offer packages for the World Cup games? Be careful.
They always do that. Meza Sports used to do the same thing when they had the ticket packages. I put in my deposits well before Mexico qualified - at around March of the year before the 2006 world cup. If Mexico did not qualify, you'd get your money back. Check out the Mundomex website for more info. They are the official group to use when buying Mexico tickets. With these prices, however, I'm probably not going. Add the wife and the kid and you're talking $30,000 for basically one Mexico game and one other game. For the Germany world cup I got all three first round games for around $6000. Now they're out to gouge people, but I guess as long as there are folks that can afford this, they'll keep doing it.
I was thinking 6-8k, but 10k means a lot less wino activities. Can I contain myself? I'm assuming the longer I wait the worse off I'll be?
how is this possible without teams qualified and no group draw has occurred which means you don't know the dates???
