Looks like this kid Saco-Vertiz, Aurelio has been called by Peru but never caped, he seems to have good size, good speed and great ball control, I wonder if he has any interest in listening to JK.
The kid is very good at crossing from the left side also his 1-1 game is very good.

After looking at some more vids of this kid, I'm very impressed with his game. Does anyone know if he has any interest switching to the USA? Is he in USSF radar?

Speaking of anarchy, why are we talking about Sacco-Vanzetti in this thread?

    Caped or capped?

    Dude's a beast!

    Dude's got wheels!

    Who would?

1-1 game? How about 1v1 game!

Sorry, LouisZ, we want tunas that taste good, not tunas with good taste.

Maybe it's time to get help.

Could be because this kid doesn't have a thread of his own?
Not sure what you are trying to convey with your reply.

    Thread change Friedel'sAccent or bungadiri

I rarely come up with pun thread title changes but may I suggest:

Won't get Foolad again. Chavarri at Gostaresh Foolad

Ehh, he had been more famous in Peru recently for causing fights among celebrity skanks, but good for him, should get him away from the cheap floosies that have held him back.

A couple of weeks ago when I was in Peru, he made headlines for being the object of a fight between two women at a Miraflores night club. He was playing in Union Comercio and despite his teams struggles, he as having a decent year. But he made headlines more often for his off-the-field conquests than his play.

    Thanks.

I suspect that won't be an issue in Iran.

I concur with this. Is not only Chavarri but others up and comers (saco-vertiz) that have succumbed to the limelight of Peru's entertainment business.

LOL at the sports telecaster making a joke about being born in the US, but wouldn't dare go to Iran with a US passport (if he did they'd go after him).....and then goes on to say he went there with his "beautiful little peruivan passport" hahaha

    Interesting article.

For those that can't read spanish it basically says:

It was a surprise for a lot of the media in 'USA' (soccer media, probably Brian :p) that Diego signed Iran.

Article starts off by saying he was born in NYC, but has been in Peru for most of his life. Said he had a chance to sign to play in Iran in 2012, but couldn't because he was still playing in Peru. The chance came up again this year, and after watchign vid's of him they wanted to sign him so he did.

It then goes on to explain how he used his peruvian papers to get into Iran/play over there. He was born in the US, can come in with US papers (passport probably) but to be safe used his Peruvian passport to go abroad. When asked if they knew he was born in the US, and has ties to the country, he said 'probably', and that they should know that already when signing him.

He then goes on to explain the difference of soccer in Iran to Peru, says it's more athletic, more 'pressing' (think pressure Barcelona puts on all players at all times in the game), and says although his team is new to the first division, he's surprised at how good his teammates are.

He says he's getting around with his english, as no one knows spanish in Iran lol. He's learning some words too in their language (simple stuff, hello, goodbye, etc).

He finishes off by takling about one day playing in NYC for RBNY, Cosmos, or even the NYFC team one day....and that he never was contacted by any team in MLS or USA for that matter to play in the US. Says it would be a dream to play in NYC one day, and he hopes to.

Brian - How's Diego's english out of curiousity? They make it seem like he's fully fluent in it. Is it that good?
